This was a hard fought defensive battle in the SEC. After punting the ball 2 twice a piece, LSU finally punched in a 52 yar run from Carl Johnson. LSU could not convert on any of their 2nd quarter opportunities. Manning added a FG to give LSU a 10-0 lead into the half. LSU dominated the 3rd quarter with a kickoff return to start the half, played stiffling defense and a 48 yard pass from Martin to Bowers. Auburn added a late TD. Eric Martin went 12-28 for 256 yards and 1 TD. Carl Johnson had 18 attepmts for 93 yards and a TD.

I will post a better summary later... but basically... Virginia Tech stacked the box and couldn't stop the run. Clemson dropped a bunch of guys back and couldn't stop the pass.

The Georgia offense was pretty dominant in this game. The defense continues to miss about 10 tackles per game and sustained another injury to a starter. But, it's another rivalry game victory, with a trip to Auburn next week.
