    Alabama - 63
    Vandy - 7

Alabama used an overpowering ground game to stomp Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide racked up 397 rushing yards and 4 TDs. Freshman Joe McKinley led the way with 122 yards on 12 carries and 3 TDs. Backup QB John Bowling came in to start the 2nd half of this blowout and ran for 117 yards on 9 carries. Joey Taylor, Juan Ward, and Ryan Horn also contributed on the ground. They rushed for 158 yards between the 3 of them. Horn and Bowling only put the ball in the air 16 times on the day but had 4 TDs combined. Freshman Jake Carlson led the way again on defense. He had 13 tackles (3 TFL), 1 interception, 1 pass deflection, and 1 forced fumble. With this victory, Alabama remains unbeaten in the SEC East.

USC dominated this one on the road led by Backup QB Wilson who was starting in place of Fields who was injured last week on the sim. Wilson was a :5stars: QB that never got the starting job and got his first chance to shine this week. He threw 3 TDs and had a rating well over 200. The defense was stout all day only giving up one score late on a broken play. USC heads back home next week to host the Arizona Wildcats in Pac-10 play.

    Penn State 16
    Ohio State 6

The wins have not been pretty for Penn State but either way the school remains undefeated. The Nittany Lions had a tough match as they drew the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. OSU is working in a new coach as their former coach was forced out due to alleged recruiting violations. Penn State started with the ball but could not put points on the board. OSU on the other hand, moved the ball down field but were forced to settle for a short field goal. The Nittany Lions answered back with a touchdown to go up 4. HB William Johnson broke open a counter and rumbled for the 20-yard score. The two teams traded field goals in the second, so Penn State entered half with a 10-6 lead. Penn State's defense was fired up after halftime and they shut down OSU. Meanwhile Penn State's offense was able to maneuver the ball into field goal range to increase the cushion. The final blow for Ohio State came on an interception by FS Tyrone Blair. CB Kelvin Hall also picked off 2 passes in this game.

The key to this game was the turnover battle. Ohio State had 3 turnovers while Penn State had 0. The Penn State run game also deserves credit for this victory, specifically Johnson. The bruising HB carried it 16 times for 121 yards. He actually rushed for more yards than QB Eddie Darby managed in passing game (88). Ohio State's secondary completely shut down the Penn State receiving core. Outside of a 41 yard completion to Chris Pino at the end of the game, the Nittany Lions managed less than 10 yards per completion.

This win likely locks up the Big 10 for Penn State. They essentially have a 1 1/2 game lead on Ohio State due to this win. With 3 games remaining the Nittany Lions need just 2 victories. Of course the team will be looking to win all 3 to stay in the National Title hunt. The Nittany Lions will also need to beat the Miami Hurricanes in week 14.

The Wolverines moved the ball at will in between the 20's but once we got to the red zone we stalled... and our kicker was consistently terrible..... but the Wolverines pulled it out.... and got a big win with several recruits in the audience... im praying they were impressed...

Had to piece together 2 games as we got disconnected late in the 4th quarter in the first game. It was back and forth. The Ducks were able to move the ball, but had to settle for probably a record user vs user 6 FG's. GG Duke, wish we could have finished out the original....

    WASH 31

UCLA, without their stud QB Lee Downing struggled at home against the Washington Huskies(3-5) for 3 quarters. The Bruins were finally able to pull away in the 4th though. True Sophomore QB James James Jameson, in his first start would lead the comeback effort throwing for over 400 yards and 2 TDs. He did throw 2 picks, but he also bootlegged a tying 2-pt conversion. His blue collar game was enough to lift the Bruins past Washington and keep his team unbeaten. Starting RB Ryan Bates went down with an injury and will miss 4-5 weeks. True Freshman Andre Brown stepped up and had 90yd on 17ATT and 2TDs. He will be the starter while Bates heals.

These injuries come at a terrible time as next week UCLA hosts a more talented Oregon team. Lee Downing should be able to make the start, but if he is still dinged up expect Jameson to take the reigns again.

The Hokies recorded their first shut out of the season.

Weber got back on track, throwing for nearly 300 yards. FB Jarred Taylor went down with a 4 week injury. Wiggins had a great game, catching passes for over 100 yards on just 3 catches. JUCO Transfer Alonzo Arnold had his best game of the season, rushing for 130 yards on 17 carries.
