#2 Wisconsin cruised in the Big 10 Championship game and advanced to the BCS title game against #1 Alabama with a workmanlike 59-10 thrashing over the 17th Ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. Once again the theme of the game was pound the rock and play solid defense. JR Rian Felder was the POG. He missed the last game at Purdue 2 weeks ago as he was suspended by coach GMONEY for breaking team Curfew and disorderly conduct. He ran like a man possessed as he had 174 yards on 15 carries and scored 4 td's. Back up Jerome Rodriguez chipped in with 117 yards and 2td's and 3rd string rb Paul Davis added 66 yards and went over 1000 yards for the season and actually finished the season as Wisconsin's leading rusher. Rodriguez finished with 983 yards as Felder had 973 yards on the season. Once again the back ups played heavy minutes in the 2nd half as they continue to gain much needed game time experience against other teams 1st stringers.

It's going to be a war against Alabama. Coach GMONEY will take the team to an undisclosed location to begin their preparations. The Badgers need to have a great week of practice to prepare for the BCS title game.

    On a side note,

JR DE Terrance Mason made All American 1st team
5 Badgers made the Freshmen All American team
13 Badgers made the 1st team all Big 10
4 Badgers made the 2nd team
