Please nominate graduating players who you feel should be enshrined in the Legacy Hall of Fame.

Couple rules before I get to the criteria
    - The player must be a graduating senior in order to qualify
    - Players who leave early can be nominated for the following season, just remember to save the player's information before we advance past Players Leaving in offseason
    - Please include as much information as possible on the player, I have provided an outline in the section below
    - I'd also like a picture for each athlete, so make sure to save one before the last game of this season

After we have nominees the league will vote on which player or players should be inducted. It will work on a point scale which will be announced once I know the number of candidates. It is possible for more than one player to get in but it is also possible no players are elected during certain years.

    Outline

    ---------

    Name -

Overall rating - (at time of graduation/leaving)

    Position -

    Career Stats -

Awards Won -(in game awards i.e Heisman or league specific i.e Legacy MVP)

Team Accomplishments - (i.e bowl games won or conference championships)

Coach's Comment - (a description on why you feel this player has earned this honor)

Here is an example and also the first nominee for the award. I will update the awards when they are posted and the stats when I finish my bowl game.

    Name - Kevin Newsome

    Overall rating - 95

    Position - QB

    Career Stats
    Passing - 159.5 QB rating 536-922 9292 yards 71 TD/40 INT
(set game, season and career records for the school in yardage and touchdowns)
    Rushing - 258 carries 1078 yards 22 TD

    Awards Won
    2010-2011 - Legacy MVP
    2011-2012 - None
    2012-2013 - None

Team Accomplishments 2010-2011 Big Ten Championship, 2010-2011 BCS National Championship, 2012-2013 co-Big Ten Championship

Coach's Comment - Kevin was the only starter for Penn State since I have coached this team. In our first season he brought the team a championship. In his second season he struggled a bit but rebounded in his third season. He broke every school passing record and set the bar high for whichever QB takes over next season.

    Name - Ray Ray Armstrong

    Overall rating - 97

    Position - FS

    Career Stats - 129 Tackles, 1 TFL, 60 Assisted Tackles, 4 INT, 6 Deflections, 5 FF, 2 FR, TD

Awards Won - Team Captain, Impact Player

Team Accomplishments - Won 2010 Brut Sun Bowl, 2012 ACC Championship Runner-Up

Coach's Comment - He has been a solid contribution to my defense. Rarely do we have him come out of coverage and play the line but when he does he makes the tackle like he should. He has forced several turnovers in his career, only one touchdown. But as a safety I think his high amount of tackles is impressive. Armstrong also played kick/punt returner but never had a TD. He is a sure backbone to this secondary and will be missed in 2013.

I think I'm going to go with Barkley, pry could have won alot of awards with him but I couldn't get away from Baxter's success

Yeah Barkley and Richardson (Bama) are two players I expected to be nominated. I'm sure there are other players who fit the bill as well.

    Name - Matt Barkley

    Overall rating - 93

    Position - Quarterback

    Career Stats - 177.4 Rating, 410/693, 7,849 Yards, 63 TDs, 24 INTs, 1 Rushing TD

Awards Won - Impact Player, All American

Team Accomplishments - 2011 National Champions, 2012 Rose Bowl Champions, 3 Straight Pac-10 Titles

Coach's Comment - Matt Barkley has been a starter every year on campus and has been nothing short of efficient and a great leader. He lead his team 3 Pac 10 titles and was always efficient with the ball with his 177 career passer rating. He could have been even more deadly if it was not for USCs dominant running game over the years. After the loss to OSU in the Rose Bowl in 2010 Barkley promised to bring a Rose Bowl title to USC before he left and he did just that this season beating Michigan for the Roses. He also led USC to the promise land last season winning a national championship. He is one of the most successful USC quarterbacks of all time and also hold some Team records and the User record for highest passer rating in a season. He will be hard to replace and deserves to be enshrined in the hall of fame!

Just a reminder, please get stats for your players before we advance past the Player's Leaving. After that section the stats will be gone forever.

Looks like we have a very small number of candidates for this season. I was really hoping for at least a few more players but I doubt anyone saved career stats for players.

I don't really play to put up stats for players. So, you probably won't see anyone from Georgia on the list. Murray had a chance, but his injury in week 2 last year derailed his chances.

Does necessarily have to be stat driven, Barkley was never a league leader other than QB Rating.
