The Ducks improve their record to 3-0 with another impressive game on the ground. RB Remene Alston was the star today with 128yds 2 TD on 10 carries. As the team ran for 389yds total on the ground. Oregon did have 4 turnovers and their inability to hold on the ball may come back to haunt them as their scedule gets tougher.

Tyrod Taylor won this with his arm and his feet, eluding pressure and making throws on the run. Ryan Williams had 110 yds and 2 TD's as the Hokies got back in the winning spirit in Chestnut Hill. This game would've been a lot closer but Little Flutie dropped 2 passes in the endzone, both on 4th downs.

I think Masler just needs to recruit and we are good to go.

In the battle of the Bulldogs, UGA comes out on top. Georgia dominated on both sides of the ball and Fr QB Aaron Murray had an effective game. FS Rambo also had a pick 6. Nobody ***s with Rambo.

This game was too close for comfort. FSU had 9 recruits in attendance in hopes of showing them an early season blowout. It appeared that would be the case when we went up 17-2 in the 2nd quarter. A couple big plays allowed this to happen. WR Bert Reed caught a 48 yard TD bomb and less than a minute later FS Nick Moody stepped infront of an option pitch and returned it 28 yards for a TD. Route on, or so it seemed at the time.

The Seminole offense got into another rut. The seemed to move the ball, but either an INT or stalled drive kept them from getting anymore points. No problem the defense had not allowed any points through 3 quarters. But the Deamon Decons wouldnt go away. They scored 2 late TD's to make FSU nervous. Luckily we were able to recover the onside attempt and run out the clock.

This didnt do our recruiting any favors.

    Alabama - 34
    Arkansas - 7

Alabama opens SEC play with an easy victory over Arkansas.

Greg McElroy and Mark Ingram led the offense again this week. McElroy was not as efficient as he was last week. He completed 16 of 22 passes for 232 yards and 1 touchdown. Ingram ran the ball 19 times for 117 yards with 2 touchdowns.

The defense had 2 sacks and 2 interceptions.

The Crimson Tide will next host rival Florida.
