    OUTLOOK:
The 2011 Arizona State Sun Devils program has been re-vamped with a new attitude. Gone are the days of obscurity and mediocrity. This program now means business. The new focus on the field of recruiting and coaching kids to have a Pat Tillman like heart along with the performance of Terrell Suggs should have the campus buzzing. Already creating noise are the sleek new unis replacing the old cartoonish standby of Sparky with an edgy pitchfork.

On Saturdays watch out for the Senior clad Sun Devils to be led by captains Marshall and Burfict. Also beware of Junior QB Brock Osweiler who looks primed to have a breakout season throwing to his veteran wideouts. On offense a balanced pro-style attack will look to add even more efficiency to a system that ranked 15th in the nation last year in passing but struggled some toting the rock. On the defensive end ASU looks to take advantage of the wealth of upperclassman linebackers they've stacked up by switching schemes to the 3-4 base. This should help the "Blackout" defense get to the ball and make plays more to improve on the 25 points per game they allowed last season.

So a caution to all those coming to play in the desert, these Devils are turning up the dial in order to bring respect to a program that promises to make a name for itself in the newly formed PAC-12. It's getting a little hotter in Arizona...TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN IN THE SUN

    OUTLOOK:

The 2011 Michigan State Spartans are looking to build upon their impressive 11-2 2010 season. Despite the great season, the sour taste of a 49-7 loss to Alabama in the Capital One Bowl remains. Though a number of pieces from the 11-2 team are gone, enough talent remains to make another run at the Big Ten conference title.

Leading this version of the Spartans is Senior quarterback Kirk Cousins who could very well be the best QB in the Big Ten. Cousins has a good mix of receivers at his disposal, but more importantly will be complimented by an effective rushing attack led by the RB trio of Edwin Baker, Le'Veon Bell and Larry Caper.

On Defense, the Spartans look to remain sturdy and make the opposition grind it out. Led by Senior safety Trenton Robinson and Junior tackle Jerel Worthy, the Spartan defense will bring a hard-hitting attitude to every game. Rest assured, the embarrassing losses of the 2010 season are not lost on this group.

Excitement is high in East Lansing as another College Football season is upon us. Go Sparty!

    WISCONSIN SEASON PREVIEW

Wisconsin is up next, and the defending B1G Champion's philosophy is very simple run the ball down your throat. Their offensive line is generally good, and their backs know how to run. Running Backs James White and Montee Ball will share the running load. At quarterback former N.C. State QB Russell Wilson is the Badgers' starter. On the defensive side of the ball there are questions all over. The secondary and linebacking corps are suspect, but the defensive line appears strong, and will hopefully control the line of scrimmage. The sky's the limit with the Badgers who are serious contenders for the division crown.

    Outlook:
This season begins with aspirations of a National Title in Tuscaloosa. The team is coming off a strong campaign in 2010 with talented players littering the roster. However, even with that top level talent, the Alabama Crimson Tide lack depth along the offensive line and in the defensive secondary. With a highly talented, Senior laden team the Tide will have to hope to stay healthy to traverse a daunting schedule that includes five road games against ranked opponents. Normally Bama players are used to home cooking for seven or eight games. This years team will have to become road warriors as they travel for seven of their 12 regular season games.

The major area for concern would have to be keeping key starters healthy. Talented Junior RB, Trent Richardson, is backed up by a solid player in Eddie Lacy, but the running game will take a HUGE hit if he is not able to go in every game. The same can be said at WR where RS Seniors Marquise Maze and Darius Hanks form a dynamic one-two punch on the outside but are backed up by a less than impressive bunch.

The Crimson Tide will need to take advantage of every opportunity if they hope to finish the season with the ultimate prize of College Football. This could very well be the most challenging year of the Nick Saban era. A climb to the summit with this team would make it the most rewarding, as well.

    CAPACITY: 71,706
    PLAYING SURFACE: Natural Grass

    OUTLOOK:

The 2012 version of the Sun Devils can't hide from the spotlight. This team has known all off-season that the target rests squarely on their backs as the road to the Rose Bowl, or possibly more, runs through Tempe and the defending Pac-12 Champs. Coach Nixon's program attitude adjustment did enough last season to bring a change in this program. Now is the time to set up and become a winner as the top dog.

Winning won't come easily however as a big roster turnover is in place. The Devils said goodbye to 25 seniors and as happy as we are to see our players graduating it means starters will be gone. On offense there will be new WR, TE, and OL starters in place. Making a big impact will be true Freshman Brandon Edwards solidifying the line at RT.

On defense the Blackout will need to find their chemistry early. The #1 rushing defense from a season ago was led by experience. That experience has left the Defensive Captain Burfict with some young bodies in his corps as the other 3 linebackers are gone. The recruits will have some big shoes to fill as Freshman Anthony Vaughn and Titus Johnson take over at LOLB and ROLB respectively. As for special teams, we are proud to have RS Sophomore All-American kicker Alex Garoutte back anchoring the field position battle. Also creating a buzz on campus is the ability of Freshman KR/PR Patrick Thompson.

The new faces have been facing the heat all summer in Arizona and they look to be plenty ready to help this team improve on last season. The plans are to bring the Pac-12 Championship game to you Sun Devil fans so you can help us establish our tradition first-hand. It's time for kickoff...IT'S TIME FOR SUN DEVILS FOOTBALL

    Nebraska Cornhuskers 2012 Season Preview

Nebraska returns two key starters from last year in SR HB Rex Burkhead and RS JR QB Taylor Martinez. Burkhead had an average season last year, but is expected to go out with a bang his senior year. Martinez had a rough 2011 season, he threw for 12 TD and 20 INTs. Martinez hopes he will be better this year and turn the stat around. Martinez will be throwing to 3 true freshman this year. They all were 5 star recruits and they look to make a big impact in their first seasons. Martinez's number one receiver TE Ben Cotton also returns for his RS Senior year and is expected to be his number one target again, due to his experience. Nebraska is going to have a strong defense as well.

Last year Nebraska was 7-5 (6-6 due to transfer fail). They hope to turn this around and their goal this year is to make it to their first Big Ten conference championship.

My team is also the only team not in the top 25 or receiving votes in this league.

Alabama will lean on it's defense to improve on last season's three loss season. The Bama defense was a sore spot last year at times showing an inability to make key stops in big games. The Tide look will look to an improved defensive line to slow down opposing team's running games and get pressure on the quarter back.

The offense will look to Phillip Sims to lead an aerial attack that was less than stellar in his first season as starter. The Tide also have Jr. HB, Eddie Lacy, back to head a running attack that ranked in the top 25 last year in rushing YPG and rushing TD's. The Crimson Tide return three starter from last season's offensive line.

Alabama will need to play better in the trenches on both sides of the ball if they plan to bring a championship to Tuscaloosa. Nick Saban and crew will definitely not be satisfied with anything less than a major improvement over a disappointing 2011 season.

    OUTLOOK:

The 2012 Michigan State Spartans look to rebound after a disappointing 7-6 campaign in 2011. Gone are offensive playmakers Kirk Cousins, BJ Cunningham and Edwin Baker, but returning to East Lansing is the majority of a defense that allowed the Spartans to remain in games despite lackluster offensive performances.
Leading the defense is All-BIG 10 End Corey Freeman, who along with DT Jerel Worthy and linebackers Chris Norman and Max Bullough will make for a stingy run defense. The secondary is lead by team captain Johnny Adams who along with Mitchell White will neutralize other teams' top receivers.
On offense, replacing Baker will be standout back-up Le'Veon Bell who impressed while playing in spot duty. The offensive line returns mostly intact, which will allow Bell and Senior halfback Larry Caper to gain plenty of yards. The running game will be relied upon heavily, especially early in the season, as the Spartans will break in a new quarterback and receivers. Both Junior quarterbacks Peter Badovinic and Andrew Maxwell will see time under center until a clear #1 is found.
