    5 Overtime Thriller in Tucson!

After gaining a 17-7 lead late in the 4th quarter, Arizona was able to tie it up in dramatic fashion. Going to overtime, the Beavers won the toss and went on defense for the first round. They held Zona to a field goal and on a 4th and inches, the Beavers went for the tie. They would go back and forth for 5 intense, edge of your seat overtimes before Oregon St sealed it after the Wildcats missed their field goal attempt and HB Quizz Rodgers put it away. An extremely intense battle in Pac10 Conference play that ended with the Beavers moving on and continuing their undefeated season and jumping to #9 in the standings.

Oregon St upset by Washington, 24-21 on a 54 yard field goal as time expires. I had 1 timeout to ice the kicker but the CPU didn't give me time to call it. I was down 21-7 with 4 mind left and brought it back, but couldn't hang on.

    Beavers Dismantle Golden Bears

A game that looked like it could be one for the ages, ended up being one for the middle pages in fine print. The California Golden Bears headed north to Corvallis to take on the 1-loss Beavers in Pac10 play. A 10-10 tie going into the half would be the closest this game would be. Oregon St would light up Cal for 31 points in the second half, winning 41-10. Beaver QB Ryan Katz had one of his best games to date going 6 for 12 for 163 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions. HB Jacquizz Rodgers would put together another 100+ yard game, this time 148 yards on 26 carries and a score. His brother James Rodgers put on a show at WR. 3 receptions for 70 yards, 2 being touchdowns. The Beaver defense would shut down Cal in the second half and force 2 turnovers including a pick 6. Oregon St rolls on to 6-1 (3-1) with the Cougars of Washington St coming to Reser Stadium next week, as the final prep game before the final 3 gauntlet to decide the Pac10 Champion.

Oregon St survives a scare against rival Washington St. A 0-0 game until HB Jovan Stevenson put the Beavers on top after coming in for Jacquizz Rodgers who was sidelined for the game with an injury. Stevenson came on and led the Beavs to a 21-7 victory with 80 yards and 2 touchdowns on 15 carries in his time on the field. QB Ryan Katz had a decent performance going 8 of 15 for 241 yards for a TD and an INT. WR James Rodgers continues to be the top receiver with a 2 reception, 105 yard and 1 TD game including an 80 yard burner. Oregon St has alot of work to do with the tough 3 game test up next as rival USC comes to Corvallis.
