    LSU 2011 season preview

The 2011 version of the LSU tigers will come out looking for an undefeated season and a national title. The 2010 version came oh so close to accomplishing this (on 2 occasions) but could not seal the deal either time. This team is clearly the best talent wise that i've ever coached. Studs all over the field and a senior quarterback in jordan jefferson leading that team out on the field. In switching to a new offensive coordinator, we have high hopes to spread the field out more making our offense have to rely less on our underclassmen speed runners micheal ford and freshman william johnson.

    Quarterbacks: A Jordan Jefferson(SR(RS)), Russel Sheppard(JR), Jack Dean(SO)

Jordan Jefferson comes out after being injured for most of the 2010 season looking to prove that he's one of the best signal callers in all of college football. His height and running ability make him a dangerous dual-threat quarterback. If he gets injured, the speedier Russel Sheppard can step in.

    Running backs:A Micheal Ford (SO(RS)), William Johnson(FR), Nathan Roland(SO(RS))

Micheal Ford edges out the freshman speedster due to his ability to also break a few tackles and his experience in last year's title run. He looks to have a great year and make up for that one play against ole miss in baton rouge last year. The speedster (96spd, 95acc) william johnson comes in and avoids getting the redshirt, instead his talents will be utilized at kick returning and backing up Micheal Ford.

    Michael Ford:

    Wide Recievers:A Terrance Toliver(SR), Chris Tolliver(JR), Morris Claiborne(FR(RS))

I have about a billion of them on this team, but torrence toliver will lead this special unit. His 96 spd and 99 acc make him a very dangerous deep threat and a weapon down the field. The rest of the recievers feature some quick and good handed underclassmen.

    Terrance Toliver:

    O-Line: A+ Bob Hebert (SR), Chris Faulk(SO), Beau Horne(FR(RS))

These guys are just monsterous up front. Another position that i recruit every single year, There is no linemen below 93ovr and there are 3 that are above 96. Bob Hebert (C) leads this unit with a 98ovr and will hope to do a great job on short yardage situations this season.

    Bob Hebert:

    D-Line: A+ Mike Clement(JR(RS)), Sam Montgomery(SO(RS)), Chris Davenport(SR(RS))

These guys are the bread and butter of the defense. Sam Montgomery broke the NCAA single game sack record last year. Clement is a terror coming off the corner and Chris Davenport is the anchor in the middle. All guys rate above 90ovr.

    Sam Montgomery:

    Linebackers: A Barkevious Mingo(JR(RS)), Will Theriot(JR(RS)), Bob Minter(SR(RS))

This unit is mighty fast. Each is over 86 spd and can run from side to side. They'll mostly help in pass coverage while the d-linemen are getting to the QB.

    Barkevious Mingo:

Defensive Secondary: B Patrick Johnson (SR(RS)), Craig Loston(JR(RS)), Shannon Hall(FR)

Johnson comes back to try and win that n.title. He will anchor this secondary who while missing the all world safety harry coleman... will have lots of help from the front 7 in helping pass coverage.

    Patrick Johnson:

    Kicker: C+ Kevin Jasper (SR)
Kevin jasper will punt and do the kicking for the tigers this year, as they continue the search to recruit a kicker.

Expectations? National title, undefeated season. It's that simple. For opponents?
