LSU--Beazus Christ Offense---Pass machine. Threw the ball about 70% of the time. Used a lot of shotgun and pistol. Ran out of the shotgun enough to make you worry about it, although he didn't do a ton of damage on the ground. Not sure which playbook he used, but because of the variety of formations I'm guessing it was LSU's or San Jose State. He did use some 5 wide and did run the QB draw out of it. Defense--Runs the muther F#$&*!n 4-2-5, so forget about running outside. The safeties are too fast to be blocked by your dumb oline. Do your damage up the middle, which is possible. Also, because he crowds those safeties up tight, you can get deep on him if you run multiple go routes and can get the time for the FS to commit to a side. I actually had good passing numbers using this philosophy.
