In his first game as Head Coach for the LSU Tigers, former Offensive Coordinator Coach Vredesbyrd let his athletes play. The result was an impressive SEC victory over the previously unbeaten Bulldogs.

Leading the way was RB Matt Ford, carrying 25 times for 178 yards and a TD. On the day, the Tigers combined for 397 yards on the ground.

Russell Sheppard had a solid day, completing 12 balls and totalling 4 TDs, including a backbreaking 23 yard scamper.

Up next is a bye week to help prepare for the Florida Gators in 2 weeks.
