I'd like to do some BUILDING, but still roll with BCS conference teams. 4-3 star teams that aren't long-term projects but aren't powerhouses either.

Should we do 1 or 2 conferences? Edited or non-edited teams within those conference(s)?

Don't be shy, any ideas you think would be good post here.

What about Big10+ND or ACC? I'm a fan of one conference. Maybe we could edit a conferences so no users have powerhouse teams to start off with.

2 Conferences and we should do ACC + Big 10
limit it to 3 Star teams
OSU, PSU, Michigan off limits, Maybe MSU state off limits too

I could roll with that. PSU, OSU, MIchigan, VaTech, FSU, and maybe Miami off limits? Thoughts IrishBearcat?

I wouldn't mind doing the B1G plus ND scenario that way I can build my boilermakers to the Drew Brees days :)

I like the idea of picking a low star school and rebuilding, picking 5 or 6 star schools would just make it too easy for for recruiting and everyone's team would be stacked in like 2 3 seasons

ND would be out if we limited it to 4 star and under

What if we did ACC & Big10(+ND) and restricted the best teams.

If you win your conference then during the proceeding off-season you have the ability to switch to any CPU team in the ACC or Big 10.

Say I start out at Wake Forest and win the ACC, during that off-season I could switch to Notre Dame (a team that was not able to be selected initially).

This way, we still have the aspect to upgrade but we still have at least 6 users in a conference at one time.

Nah i don't like that idea, Nothing wrong with just building up your team to a 6 star and using them in the whole dynasty

Alright. Let's stick to the one conference formula, it has always worked great.

Customized super conference, customized middle-tier/BCS rebuilders, 1 conference untouched?

ACC, Big10+ND, or Big XII+BYU/etc for 12 members untouched conferences.

I like you putting your foot down...only way we'll get anywhere.

I say poll it on middle tier or no limit. Then poll conferences/team. Then draft.

    Bada bing bada boom.

Big XII only has 10 members, correct?

Had 10, lost Aggies, added TCU. If we did Big XII we'd have to add 2 mores teams like BYU or something.

EXACTLY. Building teams up liek that is just unrealistic in teh end

Illinois, Northwestern, Purude...all powerhouses. Doesn't work for me. If we do one conference we'll balance it out and it won't matter we're all stacked. Also my other OD is a build up

I think we could do any 2 conferences with recruiting battles. maybe limit teams (depends on if there is enough 3-4 star teams, with edited rosters. Then only make available 3 teams per division, so it'd be even.

Could have this set up (just an example for SEC/ACC)

SEC EAST : Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Florida (Users) Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina (CPU)

SEC West : Arkansas, Alabama, Texas A&M (Users) LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn (CPU)

ACC Coastal : Virginia Tech, Virginia, Duke (Users) North Carolina, Miami, Georgia Tech (CPU)

ACC Atlantic : Wake Forest, Maryland, Clemson (Users) Florida St, NC State, Maryland (CPU)

Lets say we had that set-up, SEC Teams would have 2 user games for sure, then we could change up the protected rivalries to make a third for sure game, then a rotation game could set up a 4th. Then every year 2/4 non conference games could be ACC/SEC match-ups. (Possible 6 user games)

ACC teams, would have 2 for sure user games, then change up their protected rivalries to match UvU games. Then they could have a possible 2 other user conference games. Then they would have 2/4 ACC/SEC matches. (Possible 7 user games)

Now if we did 1 conference your only looking at 7 conference games. So it's not a big difference in user games, just the fact of having to switch everything up when people switch teams, that's the only problem I see.

Too much talent differential. ALabama and Duke? Only 1 team in Florida?
