EDIT: REFER TO POST #13 OF THIS THREAD FOR VOTING OPTIONS

Before we take a vote, I'd like to hear the ideas everyone has for the setup of an initial starter/minor league coupled with 2 future promotion/major leagues. I just remembered that since we're adding 3 more members to get up to a full dozen, we can only choose C-USA or MAC since they have 12 and 13 teams respectively. Perhaps we may not add members? We'll have to discuss here.

Minor league teams: C-USA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, WAC, or other smaller BCS conferences (Big East?)
Major league teams: ACC, Big 10, Big East, Big XII, SEC, Pac12

Here is a link if you don't know the teams in all the conferences: http://www.herbanmedia.com/ifootball/ncaa-college-football/conference.landing.php

    Example Suggestion:

    MINOR: MAC
    MAJORS: BIG10 & BIG EAST

    DISCUSS.

I think we can all agree that MWC is out of the picture. Haha.

I like some Sun Belt or C-USA (East Carolina and such teams) combined with SEC and ACC.

C-USA could feed into Big-12 and SEC or feed into SEC and ACC.
Sun Belt would work for ACC and SEC
MAC could be Big10 and Big East
MWC-I'm pretty sure everyone's tired of using the MWC.
WAC only really works with the Pac 12 and only has 8 teams.

I'd prefer the CUSA minor and SEC-ACC as majors setup because all 3 conferences have championship games. I say this because in my opinion MAC, Big 10, and Big East are all very boring.

    Sun Belt- 9 teams
    CUSA-12
    MAC-13
WAC-8 (5 once Nevada, Fresno, and Hawaii leave)

    ACC, SEC, B1G, Pac-12- 12
    B.East- 9(once TCU joins)
    Big 12- 10

I guess the 1st question is do we want to expand to find new members and I think we do.

    Minor:

    Sunbelt or C-USA

    Major:

    SEC & ACC

Are you going to make a bowl game for the 2 major conferences we select?

I've got big plans for the bowl-ties. Some Minor v Major 1, Minor v Major 2, Major 1 v Major 2 in BCS, etc. :D

Perhaps the setup we select will decide that. I like the ACC/SEC/BIG XII (2 of the 3 obv) with Sun Belt minor. Sun Belt has 9 so we wouldn't expand the member count in that scenario.

ACC/BIG EAST/BIG10 (2 of the 3) and MAC would be interesting. I don't think the Big 10 is boring at all, Big East would be underwhelming "major" jobs. I'd like ACC/Big 10 in that scenario.

I was hoping the do the Pac12 in some fashion. With utah & colorado added along with introducing a championship game that conference is very intriguing for me. I'm not sure what the conference setups would be. Perhaps WAC (9 teams) and BigXII/Pac12.

I'll narrow it down with a few options once we here from a some more members.

Going to do a in depth breakdown of what minor/major conferences would make sense.

(12 teams) Conference USA - Big XII & SEC (ACC & Big East could work, but it'd be a stretch with only 1 or 2 schools sharing the same state)
    (13 teams) Mid-American - Big 10 & Big East
(9 teams) Sun Belt - Big XII & SEC (ACC could be a "stretch")
(9 teams) WAC - Pac 12 (Big 12 wouldn't be too big of a stretch. Texas lies between New Mexico and Louisiana, both states in the WAC)

MWC - I think we've had our fill.

I'd like to cut down our options to 3-4 setups to vote on.

EDIT: NVM, can't use Sun Belt or WAC. See post 13 below.

    CUSA + Big XII/SEC
    MAC + Big 10/Big East
    Sun Belt + ACC/SEC
    WAC + Big XII/Pac 12

We could also do Sun Belt + Big XII/SEC, but I figured since that would've made 3 options with Big XII and 0 options with ACC it was best to mix it up. I'm thinking we'll vote on these 4.

Sun Belt + ACC/SEC but Bearcat quick question, you guys said what if we get offered a job at a better school? What if you want to stay with your minor conference team? Would you put them in a major conference? Or leave them in the minor conference?

    Hold up...

I forgot.. if we don't add 3 members and are doing 2 conferences... then we'd only have 9 members to put into 12 conferences. Sun Belt & WAC wouldn't work because both only have 9 teams for 12 members. 4 in one and 5 in another would not be enough..

So since we voted on the 2 conference setup, we HAVE to use CUSA or MAC. That leaves us with the following 3 options:

CUSA + Big XII & SEC
    CUSA + ACC & SEC
CUSA + ACC & BIG XII
    MAC + BIG 10 & BIG EAST

I too think minor should be C-USA, and the two majors SEC & ACC or B12. I would be alright with the MAC tho, and that could feasibly move us up to the B10 and really any other conference we would like
