The Colts and Bills put up over 1,000 yards of offensive yards gained. Indianapolis had something cooking as Luck threw for 443 yards with five TDs and three interceptions while newcomer old guy Frank Gore rushed for 216 yards on 21 carries. Ty Hilton caught seven balls for a buck ninety with three TDs. The Bills, led by Ryty would not back down and were right there alongside, as Tyrod Taylor put up 385 yards with two TDs but he turned the ball over five times. McCoy rushed for 98 yards, two TDs on 17 carries, and TE Clay had six grabs for 105 yards while Watkins caught five for 133, both had TDs. The only defensive bright spot was Vontae Davis picking off two passes and the Colts not allowing a fourth quarter score. The Colts will host the Jets next week.

The Chiefs and Coach JSimms were benefactors of six (6) Houston turnovers, all six of them being interceptions thrown by Savage (4) and Mallett (2). Alex Smith managed the game pretty well, throwing one TD and two interceptions, and the Chiefs scored two rushing TDs along with the defense getting in on the action with a pick six. If Houston wants to be competitive they will have to keep their turnovers down obviously and have someone stand out at QB for the gunslinger mentality at times for Jmustang1968 . Houston will travel to take on the Panthers.

Hitmhrd72 and the Jaguars are 1-0, yes the Jaguars are one better in the win column as they beat Blaza , the defending NFC South Champ Panthers. Jacksonville displayed a balanced attack with 140 rushing yards and 196 passing yards. A big first half for the Jags had them leading 28-0 going into the break. Blake Bortles threw for 203 yards with a pick and TD. TJ Yeldon had an impressive first game as he toted the rock 26 times for 124 yards with 3 TDs! And let us talk about the Jaguar defense for once as they ballhawk'd Cam Newton all day as they took away six interceptions, CB Demetrius McCray said gimmie dat thrice! Jacksonville will host the Dolphins next week.

Maybe the surprise of the week? Jeffrey Hartle took the Bucs and knocked off Rhight can that even be said for these two lowly teams, but we will base this off of user reputation. Tampa took a 9-3 lead into the fourth quarter and it seems like they most certainly had some drama. By the numbers Tennessee looks like they let one get away as they out rushed and passed the Bucs, but the only turnover in the game was a pick six for Tampa and they converted the two point conversion, as they held on for the victory!

The Colts came into the game after week 1 with an explosive offense and would face a test in the Mogriffjr Jet defense. But this game had other ideas where offensive power was displayed heavily. After the first quarter, NYJ were up 28-7 and madden asked the Colts to concede (lol) but that's the easy way out and couldn't let that happen. The second quarter saw a role reversal as the Colts would put up a score of 28-7 and force a tie into half at 35-35. The second half was more of a defensive game but each team scored once in the third and the Jets were able to get on the board in the fourth. Indianapolis had a few shots down four to make something happen and win but they would ultimately fail. Andrew Luck had a big game but turnovers held back the team, he threw for 381 yards, five TDs and four interceptions. Bryce Petty was off the charts with 438 yards, four TDs and one interception; saayyyy what? The Colts look to bounce back when they travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans.

The Panthers Blaza faced an AFC South team for the second week in a row, this time against a familiar foe from last release NFC South, coming out victorious. Carolina displayed a balance attack with 157 passing and 170 rushing, while the Texans were limited on the ground with 57 yards and 203 through the air. Houston quarterbacks continue to turnover the ball at an alarming rate with Savage throwing three interceptions. Justin Forsett was locked in as he carried the rock 23 times for 132 yards for the Panthers. DeAndre (Nuke) Hopkins tallied most of the receiving yards for Houston, 4 rec 109 yards. Luke Kuechly had two interceptions and Tre Boston pick 6 for Carolina. The Texans (Jmustang1968 ) will host the Buccaneers next week, searching for their first victory.

Jacksonville Hitmhrd72 quickly came back down to earth following their week 1 win, as they saw Miami (Emmdotfrisk ) put up 20 in the second quarter and lead 20-0 at half. Despite ending the game by turning the ball over six times, the Jags found themselves in the game going into the fourth quarter down 20-14. But another horrid quarter of football saw Jax give up 10 points and lose 30-14. Bortles threw for 182 yards with a TD but five interceptions held the team back. TJ Yeldon had a solid game when asked to carry the ball, rushing 11 times for 65 yards (5.9 avg) and a TD. Rookie Dante Fowler Jr. was able to get to the QB to record 1.5 sacks. Two Miami players came away with two interceptions each, Jelani Jenkins and Koa Misi. The Jaguars will travel to New England next week to face the defending champions.

    16 - 10

Tennessee (Rhight ) was able to come out with a win as they outkicked the Browns (Shaun Mason ) by two FGs. The Titan offense was clicking with 190 rushing yards and 155 yards through the air. Cleveland went with three quarterbacks, McCown and Davis saw the most action but were ineffective tossing three interceptions combined, while the rushing game only netted them 52 yards. Ray Rice has found a home in Tennessee, and he rushed for 185 yards on just 15 carries with a TD. With the bad QB play by the Browns, that didn't matter much for Josh Gordon as he caught 5 balls for 130 yards with a TD. Brian Orakpo provided a good rush for the Titans as he was able to get two sacks. The Titans will host divisional opponent next week in the Colts.

A game that shouldn't have been close with the Titans turning the ball over five times to the Colts one, but give Rhight a lot of credit for keeping his club in the ball game. Andrew Luck passed for 408 yards, three TDs and a pick while Mariota threw for 272, two scores but four picks. Both teams were unspectacular on the ground but the Titans outrushed the Colts. Justin Hunter had a big game on only three catches, going for 132 yards and a score. Donte Moncrief caught two balls from Luck for 116 yards, both his catches resulted in scores. Avery Williamson and Zach Brown were all over the field for the Titans as they were in on 27 tackles. SS Mike Adams picked off two passes, and CB Jason McCourty (Titans) had a pick six as Luck threw an errant pass inside the redzone. The Colts will host the Jaguars next week for the lead in the South while the Titans are on their BYE week.

The Texans came to play this Sunday as they grabbed their first win in shutout style. A nice attack saw Tom Savage throw for 298 yards, four TDs and a pick while Arian Foster put up 115 yards on 16 carries (7.1 avg) Arian also saw action in the passing game, as he had two receptions both go for scores with 77 yards. The Texan defense harassed rookie QB Jameis Winston as he completed 16 of 38 for 172 yards with an interception, had six TFL, and a sack.Dustin Hopkins saw most of Savage's targets as he hauled in seven catches for 169 yards and two TDs. Houston will travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons next week.

Jacksonville was able to hold off a fourth quarter rally by the thegman2.0 's Patriots. Blake Bortles outpaced Tom as he threw for 211, two TDs and a pick while Brady threw for 193 yards and two scores. Montee Ball put up 115 yards on the ground (7.2 avg) while the Jags were able to get production out of Yeldon, 81 yards and Robinson's 30 yards. The TEs were an important part of this game as Gronkowski caught four balls for 53 yards and a TD, and Julius Thomas had three grabs for 50 yards, and two scores. Jacksonville will travel to Indianapolis to try and grab sole possession of the South early in the season.
