    Browns 14 Dolphins 17

In a defense grudge match on both sides of the mall, neither team could find much traction on offense. The first half was a story of field goals, with the Dolphins missing two and the Browns converting two. A solid stop at the 1 yard line prevented a hungry Browns team from securing a 10-0 lead and kept the game at a manageable 6-0. By the end of the 2nd quarter, Miami benefited from a massive PI called that converted a failed 1st and 10 outside of FG range to a 1st and goal at the 1, setting up a 6-7 lead for the Dolphins.

With the Browns offensive line securing little to no time for Kessler, a barrage of short passes led the Browns across the field in the second half while setting up their lone TD for the night on the ground. Making a call for point control, Kessler successfully converted for 2 connect with Hawkins on a slant route. 14-7.

8 minutes left in the 4th quarter and a series of solid plays allowed Miami's mostly anemic run game to find some success, allowing them to bring the score up to 14-14 with 5 minutes to go. Forcing a quick Browns 3 and out, the Dolphins milked as much clock as possible while Cleveland through caution to the wind and brought the house. Exhausting all of Cleveland's time outs, the Dolphins took back the lead with a field goal. With 75 yards to go and just a minute on the clock with no timeouts, last weeks injury to Corey Coleman showed the Browns offense to be unable to answer the challenge. 2 short passes and a sack setup a hail mary with 14 seconds left and the weaker armed Kessler was unable to throw the ball over the defense, leading to an incomplete pass as time expired.

The Eagles play 1 more week at home before their bye. They were hosting the 2-0 Pittsburgh Steelers. We all knew it was going to be a bad game for Wentz when he fumbled the ball during warmups. The Eagles got the ball to start the game. After 2 rushing attempts that went nowhere, Wentz dropped back and fumbled the ball. The Steelers quickly jumped on it to take over. Before you know it, the score was 7-0. The next drive, the Eagles came out firing. Wentz found Ertz on the corner route and took off towards the endzone for a 7-7 tie. For the next 3 quarters the Steelers hopped on Roethlisberger's back. The Eagles just couldn't stop their potent passing attack. The 3rd quarter ended with Steelers up 27-10. At the start of the 4th quarter the Eagles drove down for a quick score to pull within 10. Neither the Eagles or the Steelers could get anything going for most of the 4th quarter. The Eagles got the ball back, down 10 with under 2 minutes to go and no timeouts. Wentz was driving the birds down the field. Wentz drops back looking for the endzone and get hit and fumbles the ball for the 3rd and final time. The Steelers recover to seal the victory. Final score, Steelers 27-17.

Eagles Player Of The Game - Zac Ertz - 5 Receptions for 125 yards and 1 TD
