    Seahawks 23 (2-0)
    Browns 10 (0-2)

Seattle, WA -- The Browns went into this game looking to rebound from a poor performance they had last week getting blown out by the Patriots. For the most part, the Browns can walk away from this loss knowing they are close to turning the corner. Defensively they were stout all game holding the Seahawks for much of the game, it was only in the fourth quarter that Russell Wilson was able to make some big plays to pull out the victory. The Seahawks' rushing attack was shut down much of the game being held to just 57 yards. Marshawn Lynch was held to just 26 yards on 16 carries and Robert Turbin was able to find some space late and had 51 yards on four carries.

Seattle's defense was able to keep the Seahawks in the game and ultimately was the deciding factor in the win. CB's Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner were exceptional all game and had three interceptions between the two of them, two going to Browner and the one to Sherman on an excellent one handed grab. Seattle's rookie WR Linval Stills had another good game catcing 4 balls for 55 yards. Sidney Rice was the best player all game for the Seahawks catching five balls for 111 yards and two touchdowns. QB Russell Wilson was efficient on the day completing 14 passes out of 23 attempts for 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. TE Jordan Cameron was a monster for the Browns catching 8 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown.

Turnovers ended up being the deciding factor in this game with the Seahawks going +2 in that category with 4 total takeaways to the Browns two. Next week sets up a very important divisional matchup on the road against the Cardinals. Good game Danthraxxx

That was a fun game, hard fought. I feel like I might be able to beat some of the teams that do not have such a nasty roster. Good luck in week 3 vs the CPU ;)

Cardinals Beat The Shit Out Of Minnesota 45-14

Arizona got a much needed win after a sorry performance against St Louis in the opener, and they got one at home against Minnesota. The Cards racked up 254 on the ground, and 213 through the air in the rout of the Vikings, with Andre Ellington being the big man on campus this week (150 rushing on 14 carries 3 TD, 6 catches for 34 yards and a TD). Ryan Williams added 65 yards and a score on 6 carries, while Jonathan Dwyer tenderized the Minnesota front 7 to the tune of 37 yards on 10 attempts. Sam Bradford was pretty well on point besides a forced ball at the end of the half trying to squeeze a TD to Fitzgerald. Bradford finished with 213 yards, 2 TDs, and an INT on 70% passing. Rookie pass rush Brian Vallere had the type of game coaches were expecting after he was picked #3 overall, snagging two sacks in the game. The opportunistic Honey Badger snatched up 2 fumbles as well to get the defense going. Minnesota had 4 turnovers on the day- 2 FR by Mathieu, a picky by Sam Acho, and Patrick Peterson with a pick for the second week in a row to start the season.

Arizona has a big one next week as they face division ARCH rival Seattle ( MoonBBad )in an old fashioned Wild West throw down in the desert.

Good game Baron , I still think this is my first win against you.

Wild Finish Sees Packers On Top of Raiders

    Packers 24
    Raiders 20

With the Packers leading 10-3 midway through the third quarter, Raiders Coach Raidernation was quoted as saying that the offense needed to get going. On the ensuing drive, the Raiders would score a field goal, and then a touchdown following a Rodgers interception to give the Raiders a 13-10 lead early in the fourth quarter.

The teams would trade touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and the Raiders would have the ball with under 4 minutes to play. The Raiders tried running out the clock, but ended up 3 and out and were forced to punt to Green Bay. The Packers worked their way down the field, and the drive culminated with Jermichael Finley grabbing his second touchdown of the day, tiptoeing inside of the boundary at the back of the endzone giving the Packers the lead with 0:19 left.

Terrelle Pryor finished 16-32 for 198 with a TD and a pick. McFadden went for 124 yards on 21 carries, including a 49 yard TD run. Denarius Moore caught 6 passes for 61 yards.

Aaron Rodgers was 15-25 for 297 yards, 2 TDs and 2 picks. Both TDs were caught by Jermichael Finley. Eddie Lacy struggled to get going for Green Bay, rushing for only 53 yards on 19 carries. Lacy did earn his second TD of the season though on a 13 yard run.

Good Game Raider. Really intense game the whole way. Good luck the rest of the way.

    Fumble City

Dallas stepped into Levi Stadium and proceed to turn the ball over 8 times. Twas a rough outing for Tony Romo, being sacked 9 times, fumbled 3 times, and threw 2 INTs. The 49ers defense scored 3 TDs off of fumble recoveries alone and that was essentially the game. The game stated with Frank Gore getting hit by ex teammate Carlos Rodgers and fumbling, which Dallas picked up for the score. Then, SF scored 48 straight to close out the game.

It was over when: SF score on two fumble recoveries in the 3rd quarter

Stat of the game: Turnover Count - Dallas 8, SF 4

Player of the Game: Aldon Smith: 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FR, 1 TD

gg PIG BOMB Sorry man, i know that was frustrating.

That was a rough game. It really makes me wonder how that other game could have turned out if it was not for the disconnect.

Thursday Night Football is a thriller!!!!

    Chiefs outlast the Broncos 28-21....

One franchise is ushering in a new beginning at the QB position and the other franchise has a QB who is in a contract year and his future is undecided. Entering this game the 2013 AFC West champions welcome the rivals from the West the Broncos of Denver. The Chiefs again looking to better more balanced with a dual running game and trusting Smith in the passing game.

Alex had a uneven game but made plays when his team needed him the most. With his team reeling and deep in the own territory (3 yard line) Smith hit C.Gray on a crossing route and he took it to the house 97 yards. This was definitely the play of the game. A punt likely would have changed the outcome of this gridiron classic.

The Chiefs now turn their attention to the Texans. This a rematch of the their divisional round playoff game last season when the Texans outclassed the Chiefs. Coach Reid has pledged to have his ball club better prepared for this clash!!!

Great game ZCar352 and best wishes this season.

Rams came home after the opening week victory in Arizona to take on the 1-0 Bengals. The Rams D showed up very strong both against the run and pass. Jenoris Jenkins had 2 inteceptions and Shields had another one as well. Stacy had a decent game, but rookie QB Hill showed why he was drafted throwing for 3 tds...he also had 3 bad turnovers...Both picks are on the coach the fumble came from him trying to scramble and just getting drilled.

Rams control the clock and the ball and win the home opener 33-7.

Redskins and Bills inseparable after 5 quarters
Overtime was not enough to determine a winner this week when Buffalo visited the Washington Redskins with the game ending in a 40-40 tie. There was alot of hype coming into the game for this one and it did not disappoint.

The Redskins started the game with the ball after losing the toss and drove near midfield before their drive stalled and they were forced to punt. They were able to get off a great punt, pinning the Bills deep in their own territory. The Bills got out of the danger zone but were unable to sustain a drive and punted the ball back to the Redskins who started their next drive near Buffalo territory. The Redskins put together a couple first downs but were forced to kick a field goal to go up 3-0. The Bills would answer behind their running game and found the end zone for a 7-3 lead. Joe Mcknight almost took the ensuing kickoff to the house but was brought down around the Buffalo 30 yard line. Buffalo would hold strong on defense again forcing a field goal and maintaining a 7-6 lead. The Bills offense came out physical again and would find the endzone again for a 14-6 lead. The Bills forced another Redskin punt and again drove the ball deep into Washington territory. On first down the Bills had been noticing the Redskins bringing their safety in the box to try and stop the run and called a seemingly harmless HB screen. Washingtons defense wreaked havoc getting to Lewis, who seemingly got the pass off, but the Redskins jumped on the ball and the refs ruled a fumble. Washington again moved the ball into the redzone but was once again forced to a FG cutting the lead to 14-9. The next drive would see CJ Spiller continue his excellent first half carrying his team to the endzone once again for a 21-9 lead into the break.
On the first drive of the second half CJ Spiller broke a big 70 plus yard run up the gut to seemingly put a stamp on tge game at 28-9. RG III was unstoppable the rest of the game stringing together completion streaks and before you knew it had the Redskins with 5 at 28-23 in the 4th. They would force Buffalo to a 3 and out after trimming the lead and would go down and score again taking the lead 29-28 pending a two point try. Robert Griffin threw a strike on the 2 point attempt converting the try, but a flag in the back field and a vaunted holding call forced them back and they were unsuccessful on the next try. Buffalo was facing tons of pressure as the Redskins had all the momentum and had slowed down CJ Spiller. The Bills would answer going on a long drive finding the endzone for a 34-29 lead barring the two point try which they failed. With about 3 minutes left the Bills forced the Redskins to a 3rd down but Erik Decker caught the pass broke a tackle and went down the side line before losing his balance inside the 10. The Redskins punched it in two plays later and this time converted the 2 point try and took a 37-34 lead. Thad Lewis in his second start of the year since taking over for EJ MANUEL led the Bills on a nice two minute drive before being stopped at the 20. Buffalo would make the FG and send the game into OT.

In OT the Redskins won the toss and moved the ball down the field taking what the defense gave them and found themselves first and goal inside the ten. The Buffalo defense would hold the Skins to a field goal and get their own chance In OT. They like the Skins took a well balanced approach and moved the ball into Washington territory. A couple great defensive plays by Washington forced them into a long field goal with 20 seconds left. The Bills would sack RG III on the nect series and time would run out ending the game in a rare tie.

    Players of the game
    RG III 29-40 378 2TD 1int
Alfred Morris 22 Car 128 yards

    CJ Spiller 26 Car 243 yards 4TD
    Thad Lewis 21-34 326 1TD 0int

Atlanta Falcons pass rush and big hits lead to win over Jax

The Atlanta Falcons have hopefully found their nitch on defense with their pass rush and huge hits to force turnovers. Jacksonville was held to FG's all game, thanks due to strong red zone defense. Julio Jones was a huge part of the offense catching 4 passes for 151 yards and 2 TD's. Adrian Peterson showed the football world he's back with 30 carries for 168 yards and 1 TD. MJD had a great game as well running for 101 yards on 22 carries, though he did fumble three times to big hits from William Moore, Karlos Dansby, and Desmond Trufant. Julius Peppers and Osi Umenyiora both had two sacks in the game. Atlanta is looking to win back to back games, they travel to Dallas.

Hard fought battle in New York is survived by the 49ers. The Giants, surprisingly now 0-3 brought the fight straight at San Francisco. David Wilson was well onto his way to 200 yards rushing, but the 49ers hard hitting defense knocked Harris out of the game and out of the next 8 weeks. The injuries were not one sided, as Patrick Willis was lost for 5 weeks as well. As with most games int he NextFL, turnovers were the story with Eli Manning throwing 5 INTs, one of which was at the 49ers yard line, down 4, with 45 seconds remaining. SF escapes is happy to get the hell out of NY alive. GREAT GAME LSUWhoDat78 I would imagine, if you can cut the INTs, you should be in the thick of things.

It was over when: Eli Manning threw his 5th INT of the day while driving deep into SF territory with less than a minute remaining

Stat of the Game: Turnover Battle... 5 to 5.

Player of the Game: Colin Kaepernick - 17/21, 246, 3 TDs, 3 INTs... 2 of the INTs were his coaches fault, only one was a bad throw. Made plays all day and when it counted. Turning the corner.

To add to publik drunk recap. The Skins almost locked the game up at the end of regulation when Thad Lewis tossed it right to MLB Koa Misi but it clanked off his hands. Then a pass on 3rd down got batted into the air and 3 Washington players tried to secure the INT but it fell harmlessly to the turf =[

Washington coaches kind of regret not going for it on 4th and goal from the 4 yard line in OT. But miscues on 2nd and 3rd down due to their offense being exhausted, the coaches were too afraid to give the #1 or #2 HB (Morris and McKnight) the ball since they were both gasses after a lengthy hard fought game. This decision lead to Helu getting the call on a 2nd down run that he failed to cut up field because he's not quite as nimble as his counterparts. Then on 3rd down Garcon beat his man off the line and got inside him but for some reason ran out of the endzone to make the catch and got tackled near the LOS. After that they had to call the FG and hope the defense could make a play.

Was a hell of a game. I was happy to just make the game close late after that long Spiller TD put him up big to start the 2nd half, and with the way my defense refused to play the run. One of those epic games that kind of deserved a tie with the chess match we had going.

Only beat the Panthers on Auto-Pilot 17-14. (I suck I know)... Titans CB Jason McCourty picked off Panther QB Cam Newton 3 times while the Titan defense sacked Newton 4 times (Atkins & Wimbley both with 2). The Titans held the Panthers to basically nothing through the air until Newton hit WR Lavelle Hawkins behind the Titan secondary for a 1 play, 80 yard series which tied the game at 14 late in the 3rd quarter. Carolina used the legs of DeAngelo Williams & Cam Newton and then the short pass game to Williams for most of their success throughout the game. While the Tennessee offense kept beating themselves on 3rd down, killing good field position and allowing Carolina to hang around, but Jake Locker was clutch on the final drive of the game and setup Dan Carpenter for the 22 yard field goal to win on the road 17-14.

    Titans
    QB Locker:
    20/27, 276 Yards, TD
RB Woodhead: 17 Att, 69 Yards
WR Washington: 6 Rec, 80 Yards, TD
CB McCourty: 3 Tackles, 3 INT

    Panthers
    QB Newton:
    11/17, 157 Yards, TD, 3 INT
RB Williams: 15 Att, 86 Yards,
WR Hawkins: 1 Rec, 80 Yards, TD

The Eagles improve to 2-0 on the year with a sloppy win over the 0-2 Giants. Both QB's were off for this game and they ended up throwing 7 combined interceptions (3 for Foles, 4 for Manning). The key to the game was the Eagles running game, as they piled up over 200 yards on the ground. LeSean McCoy ended up with 166 yards on 14 carries and 2 TDs. His Tds were the biggest plays of the game. TD #1 came from 40 yards out and at the time gave the Eagles a 21-10 lead at the time. TD #2 came in the 4th quarter and put the game out of reach, as McCoy scampered 86 yards for a TD, making the score 28-10. DE Vinny Curry would put the nail in the coffin when he recovered a fumble by Eli Manning and took it 45 yards for a TD late in the 4th quarter making the final score 35-10.

Yeah when that ball bounced off of Stevie Johnson's hands and then was tipped it seemed like 5 times I just knew it was picked. I was really fortunate. I still csnt believe that was ruled a fumble on that screen and also no review on Stevie Johnson's catch on the sidelines when it seemed he had plenty of room to haul it in. Just seems it was destined to be a tie.

The Bengals go into Cleveland and dominate from start to finish as they thrash the Browns 24-7. Adam "Pacman" Jones intercepted a pass and returned it for a TD on the Browns' first possession and Cincinnati never looked back from there. Gio Bernard rushed for over 100 yards, and the team racked up over 200 total on the ground as they nearly doubled the Browns' time of possession.

Andy Dalton didn't have a great game, but he completed 12 of his 18 passes and threw a TD to TE Tyler Eifert, who is emerging as Dalton's favorite weapon. AJ Green was quiet, as Joe Haden did a great job on him most of the game.

The Bengals defense was dominant, forcing 5 turnovers and sacking Weeden 5 times. Carlos Dunlap continued his strong season, disrupting multiple plays in the backfield and totaling 2 sacks of his own.
