Texans smother Jags in Houston The Jags come into town looking to upset the Texans at home but the Texans defense had other plans. Matt Simms was signed and cut all within the same week after tossing 5 interceptions against the Texans defenders. While only getting sacked once the pressure was constant and the Texans defensive backs were on their A game. Each time Jacksonville moved the ball into scoring position a read was missed or a poorly placed ball quickly ensued. With 5 turnovers A Foster went to work toting the ball 30 times for 101 yards. Jake Locker also had a very efficient game going 12 for 15 - 197 yards and 1 TD. Player of the Game : J. Joseph 3 INTs, 1 Tak
Titans Trounce Cincy Hark and I had a few attempts at the game and the EA servers were acting up last Saturday night and he was unavailable to play before advance on Sunday so I beat up on his poor auto-piloted team. But unlike last year when I play his auto-piloted team, I didn't destroy any of his players Titans QB Landry Jones: 21/31, 222 Yards, 3 TD, 2 INT RB Louis Kendrick: 21 Att, 118 Yards, 2 TD WR Justin Hunter: 5 Rec, 61 Yards, 2 TD LB Zach Brown: 11 Tackles Bengals QB Tucker Hurt: 21/37, 142 Yards, 3 INT WR/RB Gio Bernard: 16 Att, 147 Yards, 7 Rec, 27 Yards CB Jeremy Lane: 2 INT, TD
Titans Slow Denver Offense Despite several Landry Jones turnovers, the Titans slowed down Brock Osweiller & Montee Ball to hold Denver to two field goals. Tennessee gave Denver several chances to steal this game but a Demaryius Thomas injury and a non-existent Hakeem Nicks hurt Denver's offense, one of the top ranked (stat wise) offenses in the league. The ground game was hurting for Tennessee with several key injuries on the offensive line but WR Kendall Wright stepped up big and led Tennessee to a 24-6 victory Titans QB Landry Jones: 25/40, 295 Yards, 2 TD, 3 INT RB Louis Kendrick: 15 Att, 73 Yards WR Kendall Wright: 7 Rec, 132 Yards, TD CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson: 6 Tackles, INT, TD Broncos QB Brock Osweiler: 24/36, 225 Yards, 2 INT RB Montee Ball: 15 Att, 39 Yards WR Trindon Holliday: 3 Rec, 74 Yards (little joker caught a 60 yarder between Michael Griffin & Jason McCourty) CB Eric Wright: 4 Tackles, Sack, INT, FF
Defense Carriers Titans Not only was it an important match up in the AFC South but it was a battle between the league's last 2 undefeated teams and Jake Locker's first return to Tennessee, as a Texan. The game started out a little slow for Houston, an early Jake Locker interception to MLB Oristes Fuqua ended an impressive first series. Tennessee jumped on the opportunity when Landry Jones hit Delane Walker for the games first points. The Titan defense fed off the momentum and the offense tacked on another first quarter touchdown with RB Delone Carter to lead 14-0. The 2nd quarter was "mostly" quiet until Houston got on the board with a little over 3:00 remaining before half on a Randy Bullock field goal. At this point, Landry Jones/Titans OL began to shit. the. bed. The Houston defense obliterated Jones on a simple HB screen, Jones fumbled in the air and MLB Brian Cushing caught it and easily rumbled in for a touchdown to trail 14-10. On the next series, Jones was blasted again and again putting the ball on the ground, recovered by Houston at the Tennessee 10. The Titans looked like they were going to save face and force a field goal but a toss and beautiful blocking led Arian Foster with an easy touchdown run to jump on top of Tennessee 17-14 in a matter of 3:00 minutes. Houston began to run it down Tennessee throat in the 2nd half, even after Arian Foster was knocked out of the game with a dislocated hip. RB Andre Brown tore it up snagging 60 something yards in the game on limited carries. Later in the drive Locker tossed a touchdown to TE Garrett Graham to lead 24-14 and later on added another Bullock field goal to lead 27-14. The Titan offense was putrid for basically the entire 2nd/3rd & 4th quarter. However, the Jake Locker that we saw in Tennessee came out once again. Early in the 4th quarter, Houston was deep in Titan territory and looking to put the game away when SS Bernard Pollard intercepted Locker and took it all the way back for a touchdown to trail 27-21. On the next offensive play by Houston, a play action to TE Graham was intercepted by Michael Griffin and just like that Tennessee was looking at a possible lead in the game with just over :00 remaining. Big time 3rd down catches against great coverage by Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker kept the drive alive and a few plays later Landry Jones threw a perfect ball in the corner of the endzone to Wright for Tennessee to lead 28-27. The Titan defense stood strong and forced a punt with a little over 4:00 left. Damaris Johnson hauled in a 3rd down catch that looked impossible and the clock kept ticking. Tennessee was inside Houston's 20 with a little over a minute remaining and Delone Carter snagged a first down run that looked to seal the deal but on the next run play, RB Louis Kendrick got jacked up and fumbled, recovered by Houston. It looked like a story book ending, Locker returns to Tennessee and leads Houston to victory... Houston had marched to midfield and faced a 4th & inches, a handoff to FB Le'Ron McClain got blown up by MLB Oristes Fuqua and capped the game off for Tennessee 28-27. Another crazy ass game Sgt Jowers , either we have defenses full of hard hitters or our players have horrible carry ratings. GG, I doubt my nerves can handle another back and forth, late turnovers game after the last 2 meetings. Titans QB Landry Jones: 17/26, 157 Yards, 2 TD RB Louis Kendrick: 19 Att, 56 Yards WR Kendall Wright: 6 Rec, 61 Yards, TD SS Bernard Pollard: 7 Tackles, INT, TD Texans QB Jake Locker: 19/30, 155 Yards, TD, 3 INT RB Arian Foster: 11 Att, 49 Yards, TD WR DeAndre Hopkins: 5 Rec, 51 Yards DT JJ Watt: 7 Tackles, FF, Sack
Great game man, I can't believe Foster is out 7 weeks LOL.. I think we both have clutch & hard hitters; vs the over carry ratings because i know Foster has high 90's carry and I think he fumbled 4 times time before last LOL. See ya in a few weeks!

The Jags And Player of the Game
Brutal loss by for Chicago as San Fran drives down the field in the game's final minute to kick the 49 yard game winning FG. The game was tight throughout, due to Chicago's inability to move the ball and SF's 3 INTs and inability to finish drives. Stat of the Game: 79 yards passing by Chicago It was over when: After a massive leaping grab by rookie WR AJ Clark, K Lance Murphey nailed the 49 yarder for the win. Player of the Game: Chicago CB Chris Houston - 3 INTs, 4 tackles, including a pick 6 to keep Chicago at the 49er heels all day. GG Roggie well played and you probably deserved the win.
Panthers escape Chargers at home 27-20 The Chargers traveled across country this week to take on the Carolina Panthers in a week 10 showdown. For the Panthers this week meant that Kenjon Barner and Ikeem Sharp returned from injuries and both made huge impacts in the game. After solid defensive play from both teams all game the score was knotted at 20 with just over 6 minutes to play and Cam Newton and company went to work. The Panthers offense methodically moved the ball down the field converting 3 third downs on the drive with the final conversion leading to a Kenjon Barner TD to put Carolina up 27-20 but with still enough time for the Chargers offense so come down and tie or go for the win. Jerrod Johnson marched the Chargers down the field and got them into Panthers territory but would be picked off by Robert Lester to seal the game for the Panthers. Good game again bawvu97 . Cam Newton 12-25 180 Yards 2 TD 1 INT Je'Won Duran 19 Att 88 Yards 1 TD Brandon Williams 4 Rec 62 Yards 1 TD Ikeem Sharp 5 Tackles 1 INT Jerrod Johnson 19-31 280 Yards 4 INT Brandon Bolden 12 Att 78 Yards 1 TD Keenan Allen 5 Rec 100 Yards Steve Williams 2 Tackles 1 INT
New England beat up the Buffalo Bills In Week 11 the Patriots face the division rival Buffalo Bills as they are 8-1. New England needs this game to start a run if they want to make the playoffs. New England's backup QB Tyrod Taylor has stepped in nicely as he finally seems to have a strong grip on the playbooks as he was absolutely terrible his first showing in week 4 as he was 8-21 106 yards 0 tds 5 ints against the monster defense of the 49ers. Tyrod Taylor seemed to move the ball very efficiently and Ridley was moving the ball better and better as the weeks come up until he got hurt for 5 weeks with an upper arm fracture. On the defense side the Bills had a hard time running the ball and getting good drives going. Doesn't help that leading ROY QB Lamanski Giansante got destroyed by Chandler Jones in 1 of his 3 sacks on the day and fractured his elbow and will miss the remainder of the season. Danieal Manning also got hurt with a broken collarbone and will also miss the remainder of the season and 2nd year player Salim Grayson will fill the void. Patriots win 34-14 and will face the Bills again in 2 weeks at home. Player of the game/week was Tyrod Taylor. The Patriots will face the New York Jets on the road next week.
New England beat New York in their house The Patriots won last week against the Bills and look to add to some momentum as they look to make a playoff run. New England traveled to East Rutherford as they face the New York Jets. New England lost the toss and New York elected to receive. The Jets started the game out with a 3 and out and punted. New England's first drive was a 12 play drive that was capped off with a 4 yard TD by Derrick Coleman. New York would get their own score as they put together a nice drive that would end with a 4 yard toss to the left to Tyson-Gulley and tie it 7-7. New England would have another nice long 10 play drive and would end with a nice 19 yard touchdown pass to Ladarius Green up the middle to make it 14-7. New York and New England would trade off punts and New York would have a turnover on downs. New England would get a interception just inside the 2 min warning on their own 8 yard line and look to score before half. Tyrod Taylor would toss a pretty pass to C. Gates over his shoulder to the 47 yard line, next would be another over the shoulder toss but this one for Jeff Demps who had a linebacker covering him that would get them to the Jets 30 yard line. Gronk would get a 7 yard pass and the drive would end with a beautiful touch pass to Boyce over the middle over a linebacker with 31 secs left and basically end the half. 3rd quarter was nothing special as New England would get a FG on the first drive and that would be the only score for the quarter. The 4th would be a little more exciting as Tyrod Taylor would keep a read option and take it for 59 yards only to fumble and get hurt for the rest of the game. New York would capitalize on the turnover and score on a 45 yard pass to Nelson which was wide open as Cooper Taylor had no idea what was going on. The next drive would end in a 10 yard toss to rookie Karl Bumpers for the score. New York would have another turnover on downs and then New England would punt the next couple drives. The Jets would get the final score of the game as T. Moeaki would beat L.Ryan down the sideline for a 46 yard touchdown making it 31-21 and that would be the final score of the game. Player of the game was Tyrod Taylor for the second game in a row for the Patriots. Taylor looks to continue this little hot streak as the will host the Buffalo Bills in week 13.
I would like to play with my ole pal Danthraxxx in the AFC North as the Baltimore Ravens if he will have me.... Danny who else is in the AFC N?
