Just out of curiousity, do we have any Madden leagues or any history of Madden leagues with 10-12 users rather than 32? It seems like managing that many users and scheduling of games may be difficult. Just wondering if anyone had any input.
The TMFL and SMFL merged but previously the SMFL was running with about 12-15 users. My input would be, the more the merrier. I don't mind playing the CPU for a tune up game or something but I'd much rather just be playing users. If you're interested in a league, there are some open spots with the TMFL relaunching here in about a week with a rookie draft.
Coming from the TMFL (s1), I can honestly say that the lack of depth in the online franchise mode is one of the major detractors. For instance, the members were split between AP (too easy) and AM (too hard) which made things difficult. And even on AM the lack of defense this year made the game extremely frustrating. As soon as they offer more depth (sliders, etc...) - like the NCAA title - this will continue to be one of the reasons you see many more success stories in the NCAA ODs.
Have our leagues experimented with this? http://www.operationsports.com/feat...s-to-please-madden-11-online-franchise-users/ @Rand... I didn't realize that there were no sliders on online franch... yikes.
Honestly, a 12 user Madden franny would be cool.... or 2 teams from every division (16 users?) would be cool too.... that OD will fly just like the NCAA leagues....
Assuming we have a revised OF with next year's release, let's put something together. I would be interested as this is what draws me to NCAA; having a few users game mixed in with CPU games works well as things tend to move at a quicker pace.
Can't do all those user games... I tried but when the first 3 out of 4 users I faced can ONLY play at 9pm est or later its a no go... the time differece kills me...
