make the teams play the way they really do like if im stuffing the saints run game they shouldnt stay commited to the run they should start throwing it all over the yard like they do. find a level inbetween all pro and all madden i understand we can adjust the sliders but why dont u save us some time and put it in.
I'm sure someone suggested but... Would be nice to upload highlights directly from game to YouTube, similar to how it already directly links to a twitter account.
Having the ability to do situational subs would be nice, but if thats not possible, having the subs we do in the play call menu would be groovy, if this is a repeat it just means it's a good suggestion.
-Better pass rush discipline and quicker pressure. Right now it is too easy to pass on most 4 man rushes. -Slightly better zone coverage awareness -More o-line adjustments and the ability to spotlight defenders who may be blitzing to have the OL key on them. -More draft storylines, they are the best part of every CCM
I've seen more wide open receivers with a lone zoned defender right behind him, in this years game than any other year.
Not being a jerk, but man the draft stories and execution of the draft in a CCM is pretty awesome. I can't imagine the amount of work it would require for them to allow us to use names we know to layer overtop of their created classes for all of about 2 seasons.
Agree with Rich 100%. Their time should be spent on constructing draft classes with more dynamic storylines. I would like to see player names/schools be randomized, such that we prevent cheating.
I'd rather play with real players and guys I've recruited than pre made players. I'd take that over presentation. Agree to disagree.
Emmdotfrisk In an online CCM that Bucs I Peench and another guy, I've recorded the Top 10 draft picks every year as we simmed the first three seasons to play a little GM. So now we're playing Season 4, and many of the first two draft's top picks are getting little to no playing time. An instance is the Carolina Panthers drafted a WR after the second season when Steve Smith retired. 9th OVR pick, and the best WR on their roster by at least 6 points. In two seasons, he hasn't recorded a single statistic due to the Panthers never adjusting their depth chart. Their top two WRs on the depth chart happen to be guys that were already on the roster. Any additions, by draft or FA, CPU teams are failing to place in their Depth Chart. The drafted guy (80 OVR) is 5th in the chart behind two 70s and two 60s receivers. Also, multiple guys getting drafted out of scheme, 4-3 DTs and LBs ending up on 3-4 teams buried on the depth chart as well, that are Top 10 picks.
Shaun Mason I first alerted Marty that there were issues in my two previous solo online CCM. I was finding young and talented drafted players (sometimes with SS dev) being dropped in the FA pool in the preseason. I let Marty know, and he eventually discovered why. I wanted to pass it along to Frisk, but I didn't want to bother him on xbox live. Can you or Drifterbub see if he can check into this? Much appreciated as always! Edit: Drifter, I know Madden isn't your bag. I just figured since you were down there now you'd be a good person to let know.
The leagues on this site and helping you guys out is my bag. I don't care what game it is (despite what you may have heard from other people or wherever you got it out). I'll try to get it into the hands of someone.
I've just noticed this over the last couple games, didn't before because i use janikowski who has a big leg. Anyway, it seems the wind directional arrow is not correct. Im not sure if this is consistent in all games. So if i am kicking FG, if the wind is point towards the FG posts, that means i will get my carry on my kick. This how it was for all versions of madden previously. Logically, it makes sense too right? If the wind direction says 10 mph pointing to the fg post, you will get carry. If the wind is pointing to you, you are kicking into the wind and get less carry, makes sense right? So yesterday im playing a league game and I had a 55 yard FG i think, it was 11 mph with the arrow pointing to me, so im kicking into the wind. The ball carried and made it rather easily with like 85% of the bar. I figured it was because of me using seabass. Fast forward to kickoffs, every time the arrow would point to me, i would kick out of the endzone. When the arrow pointed towards the kick returner, i could barely get to the endzone. Isn't it the other way around? If the wind arrow is pointing towards the kick returner, the ball is being kicked with the wind, if arrow is towards me, im kicking against. It seems to be the opposite in this game. Riddle me that.
I would like to see a feature that would allow you to save your CCM team roster and use it in off-line play or un-ranked online games. This would also allow different leagues to face off against each other in a "Champions League" style tournament.
More variety to offensive schemes/playbooks available. Who says I can't try to bring the run-and-shoot or pistol into the league w/ my coach in a CC? NCAA has done a great job with these types of playbooks, let us use them in Madden.
The IQ seems to be tweaked each year but the mechanics are still worse than 2k sports 2k5 addition which is seriously pathetic seeing how it was 8 years ago now.
I should be able to choose my special teams guys. Why can I only choose the return man and the kicker? ST is a big part of the game and madden needs to offer more variety to ST play selection and who is on your special teams.
