    AFC NORTH LEGACY PLAYERS
The AFC North will have two Legacy Players in Madden 15. Schon Moorhouse, a beast HB from UCONN, put up Probowl type numbers for Ryty and the Cleveland Browns in Madden 25. Look for Moorhouse to cause headaches for the Bengals, Steelers, and Ravens (still trying to figure out how he got him, smh). The other Legacy Player will be none other than SS Derius Barnaby. Barnaby, a Northwest Missouri State product, played a backup role for the Buffalo Bills in Madden 25. The Superstar development player still found various ways to make onto the field for the Bills. While Bigtubb had various Legacy Players to choose from, Troy Polamalu's age played a major role in the decision to select Barnaby to make the transition to Madden 15.

    Schon Moorhouse

    Drafted 1st Round (Pick 1) in 2016
HK Awards Won: OROY, OPOY, MVP, Best HB

Moorhouse racked up 4,814 rushing yards (6965 all purpose yards) and 57 Total Touchdowns (52 Rushing) in 4 seasons for the Cleveland Browns.

    Derius Barnaby

    Drafted 2nd Round (Pick 23) in 2017
Helped the Bills win 2 Superbowls

Barnaby recorded 73 Tackles, 7 TFL, 2 Sacks, 1 interception, 8 Pass Deflections, 2 Forced Fumbles and only allowed one catch in 3 seasons for the Buffalo Bills.

    BigTubb's 2015 AFC NORTH
    Top Impact Offensive Rookies

    1. HB Schon Moorhouse
    [IMG]

Moorhouse was the top overall in 2016 HK draft in Madden 25. He will be the focus of the Browns "cheese" offense in 2015. Johnny Manziel should be happy to have this AP clone in his backfield.

    2. QB Johnny Manziel
    [IMG]

Most draft gurus had Johnny Football on their Top 10 list of overall prospects for the NFL draft. However, Manziel fell t0 the Cleveland Browns who chose him with 22nd overall pick. My feeling is that by the end of the Preseason, Ryty will start Manziel in his season opener at QB.

    3. HB/WR/KR/PR Dri Archer
    [IMG]

Dri Archer ran the fastest 40-yard dash at the 2014 NFL Draft Combine 4.26. His 40 is the second-fastest time ever, just .02 seconds behind Chris Johnson. Archer is a versatile player who is HB that can line up at WR. For the Steelers he will do it all, including returning Punts and Kicks. He was drafted 33rd in the 3rd round of the 2014 Draft.

    4. HB Jeremy Hill
    [IMG]
The Bengals selected running back Jeremy Hill out of LSU with the 23rd pick of the second round. They already have Green-Ellis and Bernard on their roster so it surprised some that Hill was drafted by the Bengals. However, if you look at his size, he’s the biggest tailback on the Bengals roster. Hill is a downhill runner that will get his share of opportunities in short yardage situations.

    5(A). WR Martavis Bryant
    [IMG]

Ben Roethlisberger likes tall physical Wide Receivers and comes as no surprise that the Steelers drafted one. However, Bryant falling to the 4th round may be the steal of the draft. Bryant is 6-4 and ran a 4.42 combine (faster than Sammy Watkins' 4.43). This is a unique blend of size and speed. The Steelers will surely take advantage of mismatch opportunities with Bryant.

    5(B). OL Joel Bitonio
    [IMG]

Bitonio started at left tackle while at Nevada, and is expected to make the transition to guard for the Browns this season. Though it’s entirely possible that he will develop into a prototypical right tackle, it appears he’s going to come in and start right away for the Browns at left guard.

Bob did something really cool and rewarded those who played like 80% of games in the final year the ability to bring over a player they drafted from Madden 25. I wanted to suggest he allow you McClaine , but I think that would go over about as well as a TSA screening.

    BigTubb's 2015 AFC NORTH
    Top Impact Defensive Rookies
    1. CB Justin Gilbert
    [IMG]
Justin Gilbert was selected 8th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. Gilbert, a true shutdown cornerback, will start opposite All-Pro Cornerback Joe Haden. This deadly tandem will most certainly cause havoc in the AFC North. Gilbert is also a tremendous asset on special teams. Look for him to return Kicks and Punts.

    2(A). LB Ryan Shazier
    [IMG]
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Ryan Shazier 15th overall in the NFL Draft. The Steelers had a difficult choice of whether to take a CB (Darqueze Dennard or Jason Verrett) or a LB (Ryan Shazier or C.J. Mosley) in the NFL Draft. The Steelers settled on the fastest (4.36) and best coverage linebacker in the draft. "This kid has come a long way this year. When you watch him play, he is all about what today's linebackers are all about. He is one of the fastest linebackers to come out of college football." -- Mike Mayock

    2(B). LB C.J. Mosley
    [IMG]
C.J. Mosley was selected 17th overall in the NFL Draft. Although three linebackers (Shazier, Mack and Barr) were selected before Mosley, he most certainly is not a consolation prize. The other linebackers were Coverage or Edge Rushing guys. However, Mosley is the "Best Thumper" (Run Stopper) in the draft. Mosley will be a plug-and-play starting middle linebacker in the Ravens' 3-4 scheme.

    4. FS Terrence Brooks
    [IMG]
Florida State product Terrence Brooks was selected in the 3rd round (79th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. Other players (listed below) on this list were drafted before him. However, with Matt Elam moving to his natural Strong Safety position, Brooks has an excellent shot at becoming the starter at Free Safety in the Ravens new look defense. His only competition is veteran journeyman Darian Stewart.

    5. DE Stephon Tuitt
    [IMG]
"Boy does this pick make a lot of sense for Pittsburgh...Tuitt has first-round talent. He can play inside or outside. When healthy he's explosive. I've had an opportunity to watch this kid play at Notre Dame for the last three years. He can stack and shed to make a tackle..." -- Mike Mayock. Tuitt was selected with the Steelers' 2nd Round pick (46th overall)

    6. DT Timmy Jernigan
    [IMG]
Jernigan, another Florida State product, was selected in the 2nd round (48th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. Like Brooks, Jernigan has an excellent shot at becoming a starter in the Ravens new look defense. Jernigan is a prototypical DT. However, the Ravens defensive front uses a DE, NT and DT on its defensive front. Chris Canty and Haloti Ngata are slated to start at DE and NT respectively. That leaves Jernigan to battle with Brandon Williams for the starting DT spot. I believe Jernigan wins.

    7. CB Darqueze Dennard
    [IMG]
Darqueze Dennard is 7th on this list. I know some may question this spot for a guy drafted 24th overall. Yet, the first rounder has one problem . I don't see Dennard making a serious impact in his rookie season. Incumbent cornerbacks Terrance Newman, Adam "Pacman" Jones, Leon Hall, and Dre Kirkpatrick are all ahead of him on the depth chart. He is most certainly the best press cornerback on the Bengals' roster. However, I don't see him starting anytime soon.

    8. SS Derius Barnaby
    [IMG]
Derius Barnaby is a legacy player drafted in the 2nd Round (Pick 23) of the 2017 HK Draft. The Superstar development player will play a backup role in 2015 for the Steelers. However, Barnaby will start in certain defensive packages as a backup Free Safety. Barnaby may also find himself starting at Free Safety if veteran Mike Mitchell is less than stellar.

    9. LB Christian Kirksey
    [IMG]
Christian Kirksey, like Dennard, has a depth chart issue. His impact will solely be based on what defense Ryty decides to use. Kirksey, a 3rd round Pick (71st Overall), played outside linebacker at Iowa but will make the transition inside behind Karlos Dansby for the Browns. Kirksey is not a pass rusher. He is more of a thumper like Mosley. He had 104 tackles last year and is a good run stopper.

    10. DE Will Clarke
    [IMG]
Will Clarke is huge and fits the Bengals' mold of long athletic defensive ends. The West Virginia product is 6'6" and 271 pounds. He is currently the 3rd Left Defensive End behind Carlos Dunlap and Margus Hunt.

    Honorable Mention:
    CB Pierre Desir Cleveland Browns
    OLB Marquis Flowers Cincinnati Bengals
    DE Josh Mauro Pittsburgh Steelers
    NT Brent Urban Baltimore Ravens

    AFC North Top Players
*this is based off of the ratings that EA is rolling out*

An absolute tank on the offensive line. JFB will love having this man on the line with his 99 pass block. He won't allow many, if any, bypassers. Joe leads off the list (currently). Look for big things to happen with him on the line. Thomas is obviously number 1 at OL and a huge play maker.

Geno had a season ending injury in 2013, however EA felt that this will not affect him. Giving him a 92 ACC and 98 power moves. He is a freak at the DT position. He will look to disrupt any movement in the middle. Geno comes in at number 2 at DT behind Lions' Suh.

AJ Green is 4th of the 5 WRs EA released. He is still sitting at 95 and still looks to be the offensive star power in Cincinnati. With 97 jump and 98 spectacular catch, Andy Dalton will just need to throw the ball in his direction and enjoy the show.

More to come when more ratings appear.

    Worst AFC North Contracts

    Raymond Rice

    upload_2014-7-29_16-44-31.jpeg

    upload_2014-7-29_16-42-0.png

Ok - this is completely about on the field performance. In 15 games last season, Ray averaged 3.1 yards per carry and ran for only 4 touchdowns in clearly the worst season of his career. At 26, he seems to have already lost his burst as well as his shiftiness. With 3 more years on his deal, he could potentially be a cap casualty next season if his performance does not improve.

    Paul Kruger

    upload_2014-7-29_16-55-52.jpeg

    upload_2014-7-29_16-56-38.png

After coming to Cleveland as a free agent from Baltimore, Kruger looked to prove the "Kruger's a product of the Raven's defense" mantra wrong. Unfortunately, all he did was reinforce it. Kruger was pretty much ineffective most of the season with only 4 sacks and a limited impact on the Browns defense. Unless he improves dramatically, I doubt he will be a member of the Browns next season.

    Leon Hall

    upload_2014-7-29_17-0-34.jpeg

    upload_2014-7-29_17-1-45.png

Hall's biggest problem is staying on the field. In the last 3 seasons, he's missed a combined 20 games. You can't have that from a player that you are paying almost $10M per year.

    Jason Worilds

    upload_2014-7-29_17-9-7.png

Pretty simple question - are these stats below worth $10M per year?

    upload_2014-7-29_17-10-57.png

    Nope.

    AFC North Elite Player Update

Joe Haden will cause a lot of headaches in the AFC North. Andy Dalton has already been quoted by the media for saying "I will personally avoid Haden at all times". Although he lacks the ideal speed to cover the speed WRs, he does have the intangibles to cover the top tiered, not overly fast WRs.
