How many people are getting it off amazon? Can't beat the NFL sunday ticket digital edition for $40 extra bucks, a no brainier for me.
My wife bought it for me for my birthday. She asked me what I wanted, and I printed up a bunch of ads from amazon stating the deal and posted them around the house. I made her homepage on her computer the website deal, and changed her ring tone to"EA Sports, its in the game" until I saw our bank account have a purchase to Amazon..
The note in the cereal box made her laugh, the homepage made her think I was nuts, and the ringtone drove her crazy as I called her all morning. By lunch, I had my game preordered.
I would guess it doesn't, haven't seen a definitive "no" but from reading most people think it will not be supported by non US-IPs
I'll be doing this for sure...Do they usually get this to you on release day if you choose that option? Or if you do standard shipping and order it say 2 weeks before release will it still ship on release day?
It ships on the 27th, so you wont get it for the first day. I plan on getting the ticket, so I don't miss out.
If you want it day one just have her choose 2 day shipping. That is the way they do the release date delivery now. It used to be free but now it will cost you a little. I got this edition for the Sunday ticket also. Cant beat it for the extra forty. Gonna sit the laptop by the tv and plug in the HDMI. Gonna get to see all my Titans games this year. It could be a long season....
I now run a restaurant at Universal Orlando- (Islands of Adventure) called Mythos. Ringtone: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/640087/ea-sports/
Next time you plan on coming to Orlando, let me know. I get a good amount of complimentary tickets each month to both Universal Parks that I could send to you as a will call through email.
The wording is confusing, but have been reports that you won't need to have Direct TV or prove that you can't get it to use the digital sunday NFL ticket. It better hold true because that's my only reason for getting the anniversary edition.
Straight off the Amazon website Q&A. Do I need a DirecTV subscription to access NFL Sunday Ticket? No, it's not necessary to have a DirecTV subscription. Each Anniversary Edition includes a code that can be redeemed to access the full 2013 regular season (17 weeks) of NFL Sunday Ticket on computer, tablet, and mobile devices.
I think this is what confused most people - But after researching it farther a EA spokesmen has said that they had to word it like that, and everyone will be able to use the online code.
