Ya, i had no clue what to do on the skills trainer at all. It shows running play and juked the hell out of bowman/willis whoever it was, i fail. I only got one success. I had no clue with the precision modifier was supposed to do or even how to activate. Then the passing one, i completed a bunch of passes for TDs and got fails, what? The ball hawk, the offense wouldn't even snap the ball at all. I pressed everything i could and never snapped.
I would hope not. Of all the FUBAR'd things we'd seen in EA football games, that really takes the cake for me.
Is it disappointing? Yes, but we know the demo isn't going to be perfect. The Madden demo has always been a build. I, personally, never put my bank on the demo. If anything, shell out some cash for the EA SPORTS Season Ticket if you play the other EA SPORTS titles or rent a copy of M25 before you decide whether or not to purchase M25 based on the demo alone. At least that way you'll get a better feel for the game and can make a more informed decision.
Well there are people other than you having issues with players not appearing on the field. Why do you not capitalize all the first letters of your sentences? Not sure what your point is as that is the only sentence on this thread that I ended with that.
I get the point of the impressions thread... but the outcome to these impressions always are the same with 98% of folk. TEST :: Individual A Downloads and Plays Demo ::"EA sucks because of this." "Madden sucks because of that." "Thus I'm not sure I'm going to buy this one. Gar." OUTCOME :: Individual Always Buys Madden/NCAA/Etc.
I consider myself a glass half full kind of guy (read my NCAA site review). Having said that, I'm not going to sugar coat things. As long as there is a constructive tone, criticism is very necessary. I think everyone has some perspective here. It's just a demo, and the retail could be much different (likely a tuner too).
I played a game last night , only two things I looked for was collision with the tweaked engine and how the o-line worked. Witt Seattle I was unstoppable , averaged almost 8ypc with Lynch. I think getting caught on lineman and stumbling for 3 seconds has been really cleaned up. I might run with SF to see if I can test this with a smaller speedy back (Hunter maybe?) Thank god for tmfl , CPU was terrible to play. Maybe 160 yards total whole game
I'm playing All-Pro and consistently getting crushed by Frank Gore. The 49ers are just tearing my up on either single back or pistol plays. So, yeah, I think the ground game is a huge focus this year, which I am in love with. I'm sure once we have the retail copy with a few slider tweaks the game is going to be great.
Yeah I think they def. spent a lot of time on the ground game. I'm having a lot of fun trying to defend the ground game. Been using a LB or Safety and if you hit the wrong gap with a MLB the center of the field is wide open. And the realistic inability to change directions on a dime makes playing safety very dangerous. Give's me a since of accomplishment if I can stop it. Can't wait to see if I can take A. Ayers to the Pro Bowl this year. I'm a little nervous about the read option. No setting to tell the AI to go after the QB so you can commit to the RB. This could be abused depending on who you play. But all in all I'm enjoying the demo.
There is a setting . When on defense press the LT trigger if you are on xbox or l2 on ps4, it should give you the run commit or pass commit options, on the bottom, you will see the button to press to have your defense go after the QB or RB.
