TMFL **Madden 25 Waiver Procedures** TMFL Waiver claims will be using a rolling waiver style to award players. The waiver order will be determined by the previous year's record determined by the draft order. The team with the worst record will receive highest priority in the first week's claims. Once that team has selected a player they will drop to back of the order and each team will move up a spot. Example: Original order: 1. Saints(0-16) 2. Panthers (3-13) 3. Buccaneers (3-13) . . 32. Falcons (16-0) *Saints claim WR Robert Meechem off of waivers* Updated order after the one claim: 1. Panthers (3-13) 2. Buccaneers (3-13) . . 31. Falcons (16-0) 32. Saints (0-16) Each week a new starting waiver order will be produced based upon the previous week's claims. We will make a separate thread each week to update the order so you can know where you stand before making claims. We will also announce the deadline for that week's claim as well. In that thread we will attached this form: Loading... This form will send your claims to both Danthraxxx and antcap24 in a private manner. We have set this up to eliminate any "cherry picking" off of any other owner's publicly made claims. In the past, you would be able to see where your claim position order was and put a strategy together based upon what had been posted and make your claims accordingly. Those who waited to post their claims at the last minute had a huge advantage. We also want to not "alert" anyone of a possible sleeper claim as once a name gets posted in directs immediate attention to check him out. The form time stamps all entries for accountability reasons. If you look at the form you will see the instructions on the top. For those that have not been through this process, we allow a 1a, 1b , 1c method of claiming your players at a certain position. What this allows is to ensure you get one player at the position of need. If you place a claim in for JULIO JONES, RODDY WHITE, HARRY DOUGLAS in your "1st Priority Player" field this is indicating to us that you want a WR as your first claim. If Julio Jones is available at the time of your claim, he will be awarded to you. If Julio Jones was picked up prior to your claim, then we will award you Roddy White if he is available, or Harry Douglas if they both were taken. If you wanted 2 WR as your highest priority, you would have to enter all 3 WR in slot 1, and then again in slot 2 with the other 2 WRs. This would allow you to get 2 players of the same positions as your top two claims. Once we get all these claims, we insert it into a spreadsheet to award the claims and make it public information for everyone to see. This spreadsheet will look like this: Your browser does not support iframes! If you noticed on the top of the spreadsheet there are tabs. Preseason is the initial waiver claim that is awarded within the first 24 hours following a draft. Week 1a are the claims that get awarded in the next period of time prior to starting the next year. Players that are highlighted in yellow indicate that those players were awarded to the specific team that is associated. In an attempt to streamline these waiver claim periods, we have developed a few absolutes: -We will not accept any late claims. -If you have been awarded a player, you have until the next waiver claim deadline to pick up that player or he gets placed back into the free agency pool. -You have until the next waiver claim deadline to make us aware of any mistakes we "may" make so we can do our best to rectify the situation. We felt the fairest way to start the waiver priority list to start off the Connected Franchise would be to award the teams that have the least talent according to Madden ratings. The highest rated team will have the 32nd position and the worst rated team would have the 1st position. The waiver order will be announce as soon as we start the franchise and we have the accurate ratings for each team after the 53 man roster update. If you have any questions of the waiver process , please do not hesitate to ask. Those that are new to the TMFL this year, we expect a learning curve and we will work with you best we can.
Have you not seen my career record with the Padres in the Dugout? That should answer your question there.
I know you're excited to get to work on waiver claims. Any idea what the timeline will be? Assuming we advance today at some point.
You are going to be a very busy man. I hope you took a personal day for Monday of this upcoming week.
Actually I am hopefully guys will pay attention to Shaun's golden rule and not be a douche and claim a ton of guys , for reference .... Please do not be a douche and claim someone you really have no need for simply because someone else wants them, it is uncouth. Also, keep in mind these contracts are only 1 year, you will need to renegotiate with them at the end of the season.
TMFL owners, Please keep me honest, any issues with the transaction log should be reported here so that I can make edits where applicable. http://forums.traditionsportsonline.com/threads/tmfl25-transaction-log.103451/
