Please just get them to do something with the weather. I want to be able to make it cold without making it snowy or windy without making it cloudy. NCAA has this. Why can't Madden???

Keller, are you serious that you would spend $300 / year (20 / month for twelve months + 60 for the game) on madden? That's just insane...

Dude, the guy makes a serious bankroll at work. If he can afford it, why question him?

You can call me crazy but to me the price would justify the return on investment for EA in order for them to implement that big of a feature. If they don't charge out the wazoo for it, they'll never make the change. Of course that is strictly my opinion and I have absolutely no data to back that up, but EA runs a business. They make games to make money. Charging a monthly fee for an "EAlite" service, or something similar, would be a step in that direction. We already know they love the microtransaction model.

Herein lies the issue. If they do charge up the wazoo for it, nobody (but you, apparently) would buy it.

I agree Keller.......How many peeps will spend well more than $300.00 per year on various hobbies and not spend half the hours that many of us do on NCAA/Madden. $20.00 per month is cheap, and most importatntly it would really seperate the "true" str8 (sim) players from the ones who just preach it as when $ are involved, B.S. is less tolerated. The key would be in the details of the service....I sure as hell wouldnt give EA another dime unless the service was 1st rate. Regardless, this is the future of all games as this is where the $ are. Its the reason Madden eliminated online franchise and dropped from the cpu, they need to control the servers to control the $.

I'm SIM and I wouldn't pay for that if the game still has GAMEPLAY issues. Aforementioned was a "gamecaster" type feature and I think that would be better. Would be great to see a "spectator" mode that didnt hinder connection but when it all comes down to it; I dont think the "majority" of people would pay for it and we all know that EA loves "majority".

I want to see Madden become as SIM as possible with gameplay. All these other avenues, NFL Blitz, iMadden (iPad Madden) FaceMadden/ Maddenbook (Facebook Madden) can be the "CASUAL" Madden. Madden the CONSOLE version needs to just go ahead and focus on simulation the entire way through. For those casual console players; just add a "one button" mode like 2K has or NCAA used to have that can still include them.

    Gameplay FIRST; details SECOND.
