Their "fix" is that now, basically the online kicking meter goes at 0.03 mph. lol. It should make it rather impossible to miss a kick now.

Its very odd, sometimes I can swear I am hitting the meter on return and then it just keeps going. I still like the old meter that NCAA is still using.

Were talking about this in the OMFL forum.....

....but the kicking has GOT to be a jab in the eye joke from EA. It's like they are telling all of us "fuck you. . .if you think the kicking is too hard, fine then we'll show you an easy kick meter."

Its really horrendous. I can't imagine anybody missing a FG inside of 60 yards now...ever.

    This is ridiculously bad!

    -------------------------

Also, don't think the 'making pass defense more effective' means man defense got tougher. From my game I just played, zones seem to work better especially linebackers reacting better. . .but it seemed like man defense if anything got a bit worse.

I will say that IMO, at least on the Xbox side, M2M was already effective enough. Zone was a joke - I've probably been playing 90% man and 10% zone and that 10% zone is just to give them a different look. I've honestly been praying my opponent doesn't pass when I'm in zone as it was almost an automatic completion. So, for me, if all they did was improve zone coverage and left man alone, I'm good.
