Sorry didnt read the extra stuff. I just skimmed what you had written and had my questions. Are you going to have TMFL as an owner LG?
That being said how in depth is practice mode? Is it like this year or past maddens where you had to send players to camps to progress
The scenario's are different, and some of the results coming out of practice are different, but it's the same general setup as last year. I'm not a fan, but you know that.
Hmm. About Resigning your players. Are they just going to go UNA if you dont offer them a good contract? I know sometimes I would offer more money then they would want and they would still decline the offer. How has this changed or what are the reasonings for this?
Great right up, can you expound on the injuries and how the effects can carry over? Was there anything done about formation subs being available in the team management screen? Any changes made to the penalty system? Is Gameplanning back, meaning can the User adjust the GameFlow for CPU teams?
Basically, injuries have regression points tied to them. Depending on various factors (trainers, etc.) you get a portion of the regression points. Those regression points effect your attributes. Formation subs? There wasn't an option I remember in Team Management. Gameplanning I have no idea about...I didn't even know you could do that.
Are playbooks tied to Coaches or can Users still choose any playbook with any Coach? Does fatigue carry over throughout a season or just throughout a game? Meaning, will a back with 350 carries/rushes attempts on the season be worn down more than a back with 125?
Playbooks aren't tied to coaches. I'm not sure about the fatigue question, the two builds weren't tied together yet when I played them.
How is relocation handled? meaning do you have to wait the year or two while your new stadium is being built before the team moves? Are you able to maintain the mascot i.e. La Raiders? Any thoughts on an owners league where you just handle the administrative front office stuff? I played 05 for hours just simming games and being a GM/Owner.
Yes, you have a timeline (it's one season) and you can keep the mascot. As for leagues, we can talk about that if there is interest.
Is auto XP allocation handled different this for M25? Meaning, I prefer to have the AI handle player progression, do you think it can do an adequate job? I know you mentioned delegating the responsibility to the AI might not be a good idea, does each owner have their own AI personality? Meaning will Dan Snyder behave differently than Art Rooney?
Josh Looman just answered this on a radio show. Basically, he creates a group of players who may be a boom or bust player but doesn't have a story line. So, sometimes a great guy has a story line, some times he doesn't. Likewise, sometimes a guy is a bust, sometimes he is a normal player. Basically making it random to the point people can't make guides.
Player progression (AI) is done the same for every player. Basically each attribute is ranked 1-(n-1) for each position. When the CPU tries to progress, it checks if it has enough points to buy #1, if not it goes down the list until it can. That way, it builds the important attributes for each position.
First off, great write up, I got uncomfortable in my chair just reading it due to excitement. Since you have that option, to import draft classes and not have story lines, will there be enough depth in the drafts regularly? I know this may go beyond your reach or knowledge at this stage, but the way there's QB heavy classes, Safety heavy classes, and so on and so forth in real life, will it reflect through the draft? A quick for instance, I had imported a draft class from NCAA 11 to Madden 11, if I remember correctly, and there were something like 6 certified studs coming out of the NCAA class, two of them got a first round grade, the other four were expected Non-drafted players, and in between were a bunch of spares that hadn't done much in college. I think I read it, but do you still have the random boom/bust players in the imports with seemingly non story line players. I think you mentioned Looman making it so generated classes still have those players despite them not always being story line players.
I can't speculate, that is basically an NCAA question. I *do* know there will be no storylines attached to the imported classes.
