    Waitaseccund....is this a hunch because it's not in the spreadsheet, or is that confirmed?

    I'd like to know if PBS/PBF and RBS/RBF do anything too. They're in the M25 excel sheet and on actual rosters in M13 but you can't seem them on roster/depth chart in Play Now or CCM.

    They used to determine the success of a PMV and FMV, do they still factor in?

    It will still affect your QBs pass trajectory, and where he drops the ball into coverage. If you user Brees, you'll notice him dropping passes over the shoulder with amazing accuracy. And he puts a nice touch on the pass as well. Now take any QB with low AWR and you will immediately notice the pass trajectory sucks and pics will increase. This is very obvious on mid to deep routes.

    Oh wow. Very odd considering ACC and SPD are two entirely different things. It's like quickness vs. afterburners.

    Not so sure about that... I take that first sentence to mean CPU controlled only.


    Let’s start with the biggest unknown in all of Madden ratings: the awareness rating (AWR). AWR will have a big impact on the ability of CPU-controlled QB’s and their ability to make plays against your defense.

    Here’s a list of a few things that AWR impacts:

    - Used in combination with physical ratings to determine pass trajectory.
    - Determines the decision made on option routes.
    - Determines QB’s reaction time when scrambling.
    - Determines QB’s recognition of threats in the pocket
    - Determines if a QB can throw a ball away.

    The top five quarterbacks are all elite in their awareness ratings, which is why you’ll have trouble stopping Tom Brady from shredding your defense with perfect trajectories on his deep balls. Guys like Brady will almost always make the correct read on option routes. You won’t get many sacks on Rodgers and Manning because they’ll throw the ball away to avoid negative plays.

    I'm about 99.99% sure Shaun said as much last year , I played guys with low AWR and noticed nothing negative about it.

    Noticed a "Personality" rating this year. What does this do? Seems the more marketable a player is, the higher the rating?

    I believe its related to popularity and jersey sales.
