It should be noted that none of the scenarios he brought up have actually happened. JFF's family initially submitted for trademarks in order to protect his name and prevent other people from profiting from it.
The author does make some good points about the living and walking contradiction that is the NCAA. Legal actions have been pending for years and it appears that a stalemate has been initiated due to the double-standards imposed by the NCAA.
