College Park, MD -- What a way to open up the season. With all the cards seeming to be stacked by the Football Gods to ensure an opening day defeat, The Terps come out and show that the hard shell is not a place to run to, hide in, and cower under, but a protective shield over an up and coming program.

The Offense started out sleep walking, but got a spark when Sophomore CB Johnson picked of Klein. The Offense stuttered again, and then the Defense gave up a 13 **** run by Pease to put KSU up early. On the ensuing possession, the Offense again would look out of sync. It looked to be a headed for a long day for Terp Nation. Until....Robinson reads an option pitch, and steps in front and take it to the house. 7-7. There is life! Terps O would score on a screen to Pickett to put them up 14-7. KSU battles back behind a determined run game led by Hubert, who had a career game. 21 - 20 at the half. Coach Edsall gave the usual speech to the guys, but it was the words of encouragement from CTfromDC to CJ Brown, the newly appointed starter, that made the difference. The Terps Offense went on to three more offensive touchdowns in the second half, led by the young man Brown. The offense inspired the defense as well, who shut out and tamed the KSU pussycats.

CT was asked what he thought of the team and the effort, " I was pleased, now on to week two" is all he had to say. The Terps upset #13 KSU and could quite possibly see them selves enter the rankings next week. They are aren't letting it all go to their heads though. They realize it's one game, but congrats are due, no one gave them a shot after going 2 - 10 last season. FEAR THE TURTLE!!!
