    Thriller in Death Valley

    Maryland 31 Clemson 28

A heart attack was eminent when Maryland traveled south to take on the Tigers of Clemson. The teams played great football throughout the game and it would come down to the last few ticks of the clock. Maryland took a 24-14 lead with 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, but the Clemson tigers surged and scored 14 points with 1:47 and 51 seconds left in the 4th, giving Maryland only 50 seconds to drive the field and win down 28-24. A field goal wouldn't cut it. After multiple wide open drops, the Terps saw light as QB CJ Brown found WR Dorsey wide open to set up a 1st and Goal from the Clemson 6 yard line on a 3rd and 18 on their own 49. 1st and Goal, dropped in the endzone by TE Furstenburgh. 2nd and Goal, with merely 15 seconds left, dropped on the 1 yard line by WR Long. 3rd and Goal, 6 seconds left...time for one more play. CJ Brown throws into the endzone into double coverage to WR Stinebaugh who comes down with the game winning reception! Terps Win! 31-28!!

    More Road Madness for Maryland

    Maryland 36 Virginia 33

Maryland would again post another tough win on the road, this time against the 0-3 Cavaliers of Virginia. Yes, the winless Cavs, who have lost to Penn State, Wake Forest, and Duke the week prior, would post a threat to the 9th ranked 3-1 Terps. Dropped passes were again the name of the game for Maryland on the road, who has seemed to have trouble catching the football. QB CJ Brown would have a monster 4 TD Game, but dropped passes gave him a horrid 45% completion rating. HB Avery Graham would have a solid 187 yard, 1 TD game for the Terps. The Defense would play solid 4th quarter football, but couldn't stop Virginia on 2 of their 3 4th down attempts in the first half, which resulted in 12 points for the Cavaliers. 2 missed XPs cost Virginia, as Maryland would be successful on a 2-pt conversion that gave them the 3-point lead that would end up being the difference, despite a UVA charge late in the 4th. Maryland will enjoy a bye week, before coming back home to their comfort to take on the Big10's Iowa Hawkeyes in OOC Action.

I have been having trouble trying to access my EASportsWorld account and therefore can not get pics or videos uploaded. I figure, since I can't do that and if I can't get it figured out by the 2013 season....The Maryland Terps 2013 Game Summaries will be done and covered on TerpToe Radio (Name Pending). Each week, I will not only do a "radio show" for the Saturday Heroes league itself, but will recap the Maryland Terps games on a seperate show.
