Alright I need help on defense, starting to get better but I still need alot of practice. I am pretty skilled with the DE position, OK with MLB and terrible at secondary.

So let me ask anyone, which team (not going to use a 5 or 6 star school) and which should I control, the CB or one of the Safeties?

I will not be doing Player Lock as that creates a whole different view of the field and I would rather have the overhead view just like I do when playing a game.

Safety defiantly. When you control CB they just attack the other side all day long, you can control a lot more of the field at safety

Go with safety. You can help in coverage just as if you were playing corner (maybe more so) and you can help stop the run.

Which team should I use? I'd like to use a team with a defense that can put up a fight but doesn't dominate, nor get blown away.

    Nice!

I just need a team to use, I want to start tonight or tomorrow if possible. I might create myself as a safety or LB at like the 78-83 overall range.

I was thinking about a Big 12 school, maybe Nebraska, Texas Tech, or OK St

    IMPOSSIBLE!

Hahaha just kidding @MaslerBoros16 ! Good luck man, I would vote for you to use Notre Dame if you weren't an MSU fan. Their defense is decent, but if you want them to be great you will have to have some user skill. There are some good players, but most are young so you will be able to grow with the team.

It's not really to learn defense I guess, just to get more skill at the positions I rarely use. I need a better understanding as well because I also struggle in recognizing some defensive formations

I have decided to go ahead and use Texas A&M. They have a defense that has potential but needs some work too.

I will be using the following sliders Week 1 to see if they work well with me if it's not listed it's at default.

    Skill: AA
    Recruiting Diff: AA
    Qtr Length: 5 min

    QB Accuracy: HUM - 40, CPU - 40
    WR Catching: HUM - 40, CPU -40
    RB Ability: HUM - 45, CPU - 55
    Pass Covg: HUM - 45, CPU - 50
    Pass Rush: HUM - 55, CPU - 55
    INT: HUM - 15, CPU -10
    Rush D: HUM - 45, CPU - 50
    Tackling: HUM - 45, CPU - 50

Into the Pre-Season. I will NOT be creating prospects.

Team Needs: 2 FB, 1 C, 1 DT. (As you can see I chose a young defense with room for improvement and won't leave me after one season)

    8 Seniors, 68 Men. 10 Scholarships Available.
