The Baltimore Orioles are STILL in 1st place in the very tough AL East and the 2nd best record behind Texas. Don't expect it to last. Tampa is getting hot and are now only 1 game back.

Matt Kemp murdered the ball in May with 9 HR and 27 runs scored. He is hitting .340 on the season.

Adam Wainright is a big reason the Cardinals had an excellent May (18-11) as he went 4-1 with a sub 2.00 ERA

Rick Ankiel is a big reason the Nationals have been struggling. After a May in which he finished with a .587 OPS, he was finally demoted to AAA.

The Brewers lead the NL Central by 3 games and currently have the best record in the National League. We knew they would score runs (2nd in NL), but their pitching has been rock solid currently at 3rd in the NL.

Alan Dysktra of the New York Mets wins the NL Rookie of the Month. This dude is a legit hitter and fully developed with 7/9/7/9/7 ratings. He suddenly became Rookie of the Year favorite

The Atlanta Braves have to be the biggest surprise as we sit at June 1st. Last place in the NL East and having an AWFUL season. GM Timpe needs to make something happen, and fast.

Finally... The Minnesota Twins. One of the quietest teams all year, somehow... these guys are in 1st place. 3rd in runs scored, 6th in runs against. How is this even possible?

Peavy has been going bonkers... 3 hits, 0 runs, 16 K's, and 1 BB through 18 innings pitched.
