    Michael Griffin Press Conference

    A shocker in Memphis.

After leading the league in interceptions and leading his team to the MegaBowl, pro bowler Michael Griffin (95 ovr) has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks for a 1st Round Pick.

Griffin will immediately join a new look defense that features blazing speed in the secondary and perhaps the best LB corps in the game. Gone is cornrback Marcus Trufant who was included in the deal. The Seahawks got back a 3rd and 7th round draft pick plus projected starting RT Troy Kopog.

Griffin seemed a little shaken at his introductary press conference. "Man I have to tell you I loved those guys, my brothers back there in Tennessee. It's tough to leave, but I think we're going to have something special here in Seattle. I feel like I'm back in college again with all of these young guys around me."

Youth is certainly prevalent on the Seahawks defense where the average age is 26 years old. We shall see if youth prevails in Seattle next year.
