The Michigan Wolverines literally ran away with a 56-27 victory over Indiana. The team combined for 416 rushing yards on 30 carries.

HB Stephen Hopkins had 2 TDs and backup Mike Cox broke of a 60 yard run for a score in garbage time. 3rd stringer Michael Shaw also could have had a TD at the end of the game but decided to stop short of the goal-line and let the wolverines kneel the clock out.

Denard Robinson ran for 128 yards and 3 TDs and also found Roy Roundtree in the endzone for a score.

The Michigan defense wasn't as sharp as they gave up more than double than they had in the previous 3 games. Coach chopper credits the Indiana pistol attack for giving Michigan such a hard time on defense. "They had a very balanced attack out of their pistol formation that kept us guessing all game." The highlight play on the defensive side of the ball was when MLB Kenny Demons picked off a pass and took it to the house.

Player of the game on Defense: Kenny Demons
