After taking a huge blow to their season in the loss to Maryland; followed by a bye week, the Spartans hosted B1G 10 powerhouse Ohio State and Urban Meyer. When most seasons this is an understandable L for the Spartans, this proved this isnt just most seasons. Junior QB Andrew Maxwell led the charge starting off 10 for 10 before missing on a pass attempt, and minus the 2 INT's he threw, he had an amazing game finishing 15-19 for 218 yds and 2 TDs! SO Jeremy Langford kept the ground game and the control of the ball steady with his 28 carries for 85 yds and a 1st qrt TD as well as catching 4 passes for 41 yds. SO Tony Lippett (the leading receiver for MSU) had a big TD catch for 48 yds and a score and Deanthony Arnett caught 2 passes for 30 yds and a TD as well. Defensive stud Marcus Rush and 3.5 sacks and CB Daequeze Dennard chipped in with an INT to help keep the Buckeyes out of the endzone!
