Michigan signs 3 after beating #12 VT 28-0.

Michigan had several recruits in town to watch their impressive win over the Hokies. Of these recruits, 3 of them signed, including the #1 recruit in the country.

FS(#1) Josh Burton - This guy is the #1 recruit in the country, which also makes him a bonus guy. He stands 6'5, but only has okay speed. He is great in zone coverage, however, which is very important for a Michigan FS. On top of that he hits very hard and will be looking to remove a few heads in the secondary. He is a JUCO player, however, and coach Jello doesn't know as of yet how many years of eligibility he will have left, but he's really hoping it'll be 3. Coach Jello was worried that he would land in Florida, but he managed to hold off the Gators and sign him.

HB(#3) Lamont West - This HB is the fastest recruit in the country this year at any position and he is the fastest player that coach Jello will have ever coached. Michigan is very deep at HB already with 5 HBs potentially returning next year, but with that kind of speed, coach Jello will find a place for him early I'm sure.

OLB(#4) Justin Stanley - Stanley will be able to step in @ OLB where Michigan has been strong. He will be a backup early on but should be a very good backer when it comes time for him to play. He is another JUCO player and because of the way that the NCAA waits to determine eligibility remaining until the JUCO kids get to school, coach Jello will have to wait to see how many years he'll have left with this kid.

Haha, that should help the option. That kind of speed to the edge is killer.

Big week of recruiting following our win over Iowa. We inked 4 guys, including a bonus guy.

:4stars: T Jordan Atkins from CA is a bonus guy who'll make a good lineman. He has B+ run blocking and B pass blocking to go along with average blocking ratings elsewhere.

:4stars: C Antonio Simon from LA adds more beef to the line. He has even better blocking ratings than Atkins pretty much across the board despite being ranked 36 players lower.

:4stars: WR Billy Green from SC adds yet another giant in the Michigan receiving corps. He stands 6'5 while still running a 4.46 40. His ratings are pretty average so he may take a couple of years to develop.

:4stars: MLB Roy Foreman from CA fills the only need spot for Michigan this year. We're still pursuing the #1 MLB who's a :5stars: kid, but it's not likely we'll be able to sign him. Foreman is strong, fast, and a good tackler. What more could you want in a MLB?
