Arizona and Green Bay faced off at Lambeau on a beautiful 34 degree day. These teams were separated by only 1 game in a tight NFC. Green Bay started the scoring off by intercepting a tipped Skelton pass and rookie Nick Perry took it 61 yards for the quick score. On to the second quarter and Skelton would hit rookie Floyd for a perfect 25 yard touchdown to tie up the score at 7. Rodgers not to be outdone, would hit Jermichael Finley from 10 yards out to put Green Bay back up by 7. Late in the second quarter the Packers intercept Skelton again and get the ball in the redzone. However, Campbell jumped a screen pass to end the Packers drive and send the game into half with Green Bay leading, 14-7.

Green Bay received the ball to start the second half and drove the length of the field. Facing a 3rd and 2 at Arizona's 6, Green Bay spread the field. Rodgers dropped back and eyed a wide open middle of the field and took off only to trip on his own 2 feet and fall for a 1 yard gain. Crosby would kick a 21 yard field goal to add to the lead, 17-7. The momentum swung after that big stop for Arizona. Skelton would find Todd Heap, who sneaked by the secondary, for 56 yards to get the Cards within 3. The next series for the Packers resulted in a Rodgers interception. Arizona capitalized and Skelton found Larry Fitzgerald from 22 yards out to give the Cards their first lead of the game, 21-17. Arizona wouldn't stop there. They would get the ball back again in the 3rd quarter and Skelton would find another receiver, Sherman, for 3 yards for the TD, 28-17. the Cardinals were pulling away and Green Bay was sensing it.

The 4th quarter arrived and so did some magic. Facing a long 3rd down, Rodgers threw a bomb to Greg Jennings who out leaped the defender for a huge first down. The very next play, Rodgers rifled a pass to Jordy Nelson for a 12 yard score with 5:51 remaining in the game. Green Bay opted to kick the xp, 24-28. Green Bay's defense picked up their game and forced the Cardinals to punt. Green Bay's next possession resulted in a long drive. Facing a 4th and 3 from Arizona's 7 with only 1:21 remaining, Rodgers eyes Driver over the middle. However, Driver didn't see Aaron and dropped the pass in tight coverage to turn the ball over. Arizona ran the ball on first down for a loss of 2 yards. Timeout. The next pass was a curl to the left, but a big hit by Sam Shields forced the ball out and incomplete. The next pass was incomplete and Arizona was forced to punt with a smidge over a minute left in the game. Green Bay got the ball and a complete pass to Jennings put Green Bay at their own 49. No clue why timeout wasn't called but Green Bay huddled and called a play. Rodgers dropped back and timed a perfect pass over the middle to Randall Cobb who would outrace the defenders to score from 51 with 15 seconds left, 31-28. Arizona wouldn't have a miracle in their hat and the game would end.
