Ms. State First Win Bittersweet for Coach QBKILLAR
    Ms State 34 UAB 21
With the first game of the 2012 season over Coach QBKILLAR is scrathing his head on what just happened to what is suppose to be a "better than average" defensive unit. Bulldog fans looked on in disbelief as UAB tourched their secondary for 295 passing yards in the season opener. Only bright spot on defense for the Bulldogs was a very aggresive D line and linebacking corp that held their opponent to 0 rushing yards on 18 attempts. The Bulldogs will be heading back to the practice fields to rectify this situation.

On the offensive side of the ball things went pretty much the way everone expected them to with Vick Ballard rushing for 126 yards on 20 attempts with 3 TD's (2 rushing and 1 receiveing). The Bulldogs have a very balanced rushing game with 3 very dependable RB's. The passing game for Ms State just never could get going in this season opener with QB Chris Relf 6 for 15 with 49 yards and a single TD pass. This is very dissapointing considering the solid lineup of receivers that returned to play for the Bulldogs this year.

Ms State Survives Scare in Outback Bowl

In just his second game back after retaking the helm of the Bulldogs coach QB is tested. Some speculate that the Bulldogs came in looking to the offseason and no at the scrappy Badger squad that came to play and in the first half it was all Badgers who came in throwing haymakers at a somewhat stunned MSU offense and defense. Even though the score didint reflect the thrashing that was taking place. Had it not been for the efforts of Anthony Day in the first half this game could have gotten completely out of hand. But the Dawgs limped into the locker room at half time trailing the WU squad 21-17.

Who knows what was said by Coach QB in the locker room at half but the second half was a different story. MSU came out hitting on all cylinders and quickly dashed any hopes of an Outback Bowl victory that Wisconsin may have dreamed of and yet again finish with a season to be proud of finishing 9-3 on the efforts and leadership of a scrappy bunch of seniors.

I would like to wish all my seniors good luck as they travel on to Madden NFL.

    Ms. State

WR Anthony Day 2 receptions for 59 yards and 100 yard kickoff return

haha, sorry i'm just lazy tonight.
