Missouri Tigers vs. Kansas State University Wildcats

As they say defense wins football games. After tying the game up on their opening drive KSU was then shutout until the 4th quarter. Freshman DE Aldon Smith lead the team with 4 of Missouris 10 sacks causing one forced fumble. KSU QB Grant Gregory threw 5 interceptions, 2 returned for touchdowns. Tigers backup RBs Kendial Lawerence and Devion Moore carried the ball for 264 yards scoring 5 touchdowns combined. QB Blaine Gabbert played a much better game completing only 6 of 7 passes but for 174 yards and 1 TD. Overall Missouri played a great game, KSU could not stop the run and their 6 turnovers didn't help either. Final score MIZ 59 KSU 14.

Wow, 10 sacks. Can you give some pointers on how you generate that kind of pressure against the CPU? I try blitzes, etc, with UNC (who has a pretty good front 7) but the CPU QB's always get rid of the ball before I can get to them.

    Nice defensive effort.

I try that also, but half the time the QB throws it way early if I blitz so I never even get a chance. I'm lucky if I can get 2-3 sacks in a CPU game regardless of how much I blitz, so any tips anyone can provide on how you can get 6-8 sacks in a game would be appreciated.

Dru I usually just send 4 guys, spread the D line and sometimes the DE can get right around unblocked. Then the odd Blitz with my LB or Corner. Just keep hitting up and down on the right stick to get off blocks.

You can save up to 5 highlights per game unless you purchase more slots. Then after you save go to the main menu and somewhere in My NCAA is highlights. From there you upload it onto the EA server. Then you go to easportsworld.com and make an account using the same email address thats linked to your xbox live account. You can see your video from there.

    Missouri Runs Over Iowa State

RB Devion Moore is fitting nicely into his new starting position since starter Derrick Washington is out for the season with a Broken Collarbone. Both teams had no really big plays but The Tigers effectively ran the ball up the middle all game long. Moore rushed 257 Yards against Iowa State on 56 attempts and 2 TDs. Iowa States offense could not get anything going all game, having only one good drive resulting in only a field goal. Although they didn't turn the ball over they only completed 3 of 15 3rd down attempts. SO QB Blaine Gabbert had another solid game completing 11 of 15 passes for 174 yards and 1 TD. The Tigers defense although didnt get one turnover played a very good game, holding ISU to only 201yrds of total offense and no touchdowns. Final score ISU 6 MIZ 41.

    Missouri Tigers vs Kansas Jayhawks

A poor defensive showing for both teams, allowing nearly 400 yards each. On each opening drive both teams threw an interception, Tigers CD K. Rutland took theres back for a 49yrd touchdown. Kansas could not stop the run early in the game, Moore rushed for 208 yards over 100 of those were picked up in the first quarter and 3 touchdowns. On the other side The Tigers defense finally struggled, Jayhawks QB T. Reesing picked apart Missouri, passing for 323 yards. With 2 huge turnovers in the red zone this game could of been alot closer than the final score.

Holiday Bowl - Missouri vs Oregon State

Missouri finished their season strong winning 4 straight bringing their record back to .500. Oregon State had no solutions to slowing this team down. Missouri scored 3 early touchdowns in the first quarter one being a 62 yard pass to J Perry to take control of the game. QB Blaine Lambert had nearly a perfect finish to his season completing 20 of 28 passes for 378 yards, 2 TD and 1 late INT. Oregon State could not get anything going all game, only having one successful drive for a touchdown. The Tigers young stars look to continue there success into the next season winning big over Oregon State 45 to 7.
