I haven't purchased the game in a few years, but I've always loved the idea of doing some kind of baseball league, just never did because of my past experiences with online play in baseball games. I could likely get another guy too.
I played last year's version and the presentation and graphics were excellent. Just really depends on what 2K does with online play.
I havent bought a 2k baseball game since MLB2k6. I bought the show 07 on ps3 and havent looked back. From what I have read its the 2k servers that have ruined the game more then the actual gameplay itself.
The Show's servers weren't any better Lots of Lag during games made many unplayable and killed the league i was a part of last season.
Honestly never played 2K's baseball game, so don't know how it is compared to other ones, but I haven't heard great things. I was a Triple Play/MVP guy and took off a couple years after 05 until I got a PS3 and bought The Show
good? it was average at best. MVP baseball was the game to have 2002-2005. Back then it was ESPN baseball if I recall for the 2k series.
I was a triple play guy, didn't like MVP as much as Triple Play lol but I was a 989 Studios guy back in the day. MLB 2000 was the shit!
I got 1 better doug, who can forget RBI Baseball I grew up playing this game lol. I guess that shows my age a bit
@SodaAddict @HovaTheGodMC If one of you could get an interest thread started without the 2k flaming you might could see what kind of interest there would be for a league. I personally like The Show better but a 2k league would be fun especially if all of the changes they have made are for the better. Right now the goal would probably be to see if there is enough interest and then we could find someone to run it.
This was the game... I even remember, it had a special Black colored cartridge. Kind of like the Zelda games had the gold ones...
The demo was disappointing because it all looked and felt the same... but now I can't stop thinking about playing a baseball game lol I might end up getting it
