Ms State will once again be looking to play smash mouth football in 2015. The Bulldogs are coming off another successful season going 10-4. Recruiting has also been good to the maroon so the future is looking up. After landing what the Ms. State coaching staff is betting on being a force to be reconed with #1 overall player in last years recruiting class RB Paul Long.

    Ms. State Running Game
The Bulldogs were counting on handing the ball early and often to Paul Long but after a very surprising off season the hand off's will be split between Long and RS Junior I. Tanker. Surprisingly Tanker gained a 7 overall points jumping from a 84 over all back to a 91 overall while supporting a 93 truck rating. This is sure to leave smaller DB's and even linebackers looking avoid head on collisions with this monster. Backing up long will be Long who enters his Freshman year with an 82 overall with an amazing ablity to break tackles so look for the first line of defense just to slow him down while waiting for help from the secondary.

    Passing Game
The QB's are in a tight battle for playing time with this tallented group. Leading the way at the moment is D. Prescott sporting a very impressive 88 throw power with a 96 throw accuracy. If there's a hole in the defense Prescott will find it and deliver the ball nicely. If the D decides to start dropping back into coverage then look for a heavy dose of RS Freshman D. Author who can hurt you with his feet with an 84 speed. But dont be surprised if Author stays in the pocket and hurts you with his arm with a mid 80's throw accuracy this kid isnt just another pair of shoes on the field.

    Receiving
Ms State has recruited for the last 3 years to compete with the Florida's, Bama's, and LSU's of the world bringing in speed ... speed... speed... Each of the 3 starting receivers have 95+ speed with D. Fosselman comming in with a respective 97 speed 99 acceleration. In the red zone the Bulldogs sub out the speed and in the possesion receivers. These receivers range from 6'5" to 6'3 inches with great hands. This height and the 96 throw accuracy of Prescott will for sure give CB's fits in the red zone.

Out of time for now will cover the Bulldog D tommorrow....

    Can't believe we're in 2015 and it's only October.
