The Spartans made it seven straight with a convincing win over Purdue 45-10.
The defense was solid all day only giving up 196 total yards, but it was CB Darqueze Denard who electrified the crowd. Denard made a pick six worthy of a espy, breaking 5 tackles and taking it to the house 91 yards. The best play Ive seen in the game all year.
Offensively MSU tallied 418 yds of total offense. Andrew Maxwell was solid throwing for 288 and a score. Both running backs Nick Hill and Jeremy Langford scored 2 Tds, Hill ran for 103 yds. Overall the Spartans owned the T.O.P 21:02- 12:35.
So the push to win the Big10 continues but it wont be easy as the Spartans travel to #19 ranked Nebraska next.
