So, I'm just coming down from my 2nd Bonnaroo experience and loved every bit of it... Well, except for the dust bowl that started up on Sunday. It was a great weekend... Some of the bands/groups/rappers I was able to enjoy: Hayes Carll Wavves The Knux J. Cole The Walkmen Grace Potter & The Nocturnals Florence + The Machine My Morning Jacket Primus Arcade Fire Big Boi Lil Wayne Old Crow Medicine Show Allison Krauss Mumford & Sons The Black Keys Eminem Omar Souleyman Gogol Bordello Amos Lee G. Love Neon Trees Iron & Wine Cold War Kids Robert Plant & The Band of Joy The Strokes An eclectic group... My favorites were Arcade Fire, Mumford, Grace Potter, Robert Plant, Eminem, J. Cole, The Black Keys... Hell I guess I liked all of them I saw... I was least impressed with Wayne live. I've seen just about every big rap act around and Wayne has got to be one of the more disappointing in my opinion. Here's some pictures from this year too... A little Les Claypool going a little crazy for the Primus set... Yeah, my buddy had a few throughout the day... My life line through the heat... My wife and I prior to Mumford & Sons... Shitty picture from the Pit for Eminem on Saturday during his encore... Going into Centeroo for the last time on Sunday... All and all, I'll go again... Wondered if anyone else out there in TSO land is as in love with the music festival scene as myself and if there were any others that anyone would recommend... I know Coachella is a big deal, but that's a bit of a trek for me from the Middle Tennessee area... Enjoy the pics and wondered what you all thought... Anyone else ever interested in going to this lovely hippy fest?
