    My opinion

Again, this is just my opinion, but I think we need some sliders to reign in some of these stats on CPU games. There is not a lot SIM about our scores vs. the CPU. 300 yards rushing is not all that common in reality. Neither is only attempting 12 passes in a game. I run the ball alot- because I can and I don't have to throw it. Again, for the love of SIM football I believe we should start looking at some sliders.

I dont really see anything wrong with throwing the ball only 12 times, especially if it is a blowout. If your team is up 40-0 at half you probably shouldnt be throwing anymore anyway. Only A-holes like Stoops throw the ball 40 times in garbage time;)

Also, do you mean 300yd by 1 person? or 300yd as a team? Both are pretty high.

I just think running the ball is very easy this year. Maybe set a carry limit? IMO Seeing someone get 30, 35, or 40 carries every week irks me worse than seeing the big rushing yards.

Yeah... I've been rushing for 200 per game, but I also put it on the ground 30-something times a game (usually split half and half between Ingram and Richardson, but that's obviously going to change with Ingram out for the season). At Alabama, we're a run-focused team. I'm still only gaining 400 total yards per game at the most, so I don't think it's totally outrageous.

Certainly, 350-400 yards rushing is ridiculous, but when I've put away the game in the first half, there's absolutely no reason to throw the ball. I'm all for making the sliders a bit tougher, but I don't think the run game is the trouble. In my experience so far, the CPU offense can't score (usually because they turn the ball over 5 times a game). If that happens, I'm getting the ball inside the fifty, and I guarantee I'll get at least three every time that happens.

I think that it's a bit too easy to break long TD runs, but I'm not sure of a way to make that tougher without breaking the entire system.

    JMO.

Turn CPU run defense up 5-10 pts and user run block down 5. We did something like that in the Tradition and running stats have been toned down a little.

What if I find some sliders and we use a carry limit, I like that idea..

I am sooooo against this. I don't like switching ish up in the middle of the season. You cannot cap a RB. some backs carry the ball week in and week out 20-30 times a game. If you are dumb enough to do this every game your RB will wear down and get injuried. Let the chips fall this season and change it in the offseason. We should not change the outcomes of the remaining games because we think its too easy now.

I agree. If we're going to change, I think we should do it in the offseason. Also, telling people how many times they can carry the ball in a game can basically shut down what a team is doing/wants to do. If we go that route, shouldn't we also cap the number of times a QB can throw the ball? It's the same thing...

I agree with this. If a guy wants to run a guy 30 times in a game, let him do it.

Part of the issue is that 8 minutes is too long, I think.

    7 minutes might help.

I don't think we should put limits on carries but I do believe that the sliders need adjusting. We are having guys beat other conference teams by 50 points, that isn't very SIM when it is week after week. The slider tweeks would make it a little harder to just run all over the CPU and maybe help the stats be a little more realistic.

Same, even though that is a little high for CPU accuracy (I dont know what passing stats they were getting)

Also wouldnt mind seeing CPU run block go up a click or two

    To be 100% honest.

I dont care about the sliders.

As long as their not over the top, they'll be fine. I'll use the ones above that HR posted.

What happened to our slider discussion? I see it got locked. Are we not supposed to talk about that anymore?
