Will try to get one of these in. Everyone post your nominee with their stats for the year for the Night Owls player of the year award. Then will set up a vote once all the players have been nominated.

UCLA has no nominee. This season was definately a team effort and nobody really stood out with any great stats.

    Marquise Goodwin 3277 total yards, 920 Rushing(54 carries), 1322 Recieving(81 catches), 1035 returning, 28 TDs.

    Heisman Winner!

I have so many Highlights saved across the season... I think I need to compile them into one big highlight reel.

Oregon doesn't have a nominee. If anything, maybe a leaster award.

Not in the same class as those listed above, but still in for the Honorable mention... as he did have a breakout season.

    Marcus Lucas 72 catches, 1566 yards, 12 TD's

    Oregon State has 2 nominees

QB Ryan Katz, and DE Andrew Seumalo, I will post their stats once we advance, or I have access to their stats through their bowl games. Otherwise I will just nominate the passing combo Katz to Prince

I think that Forcier to Davidson during the Illinois / Purdue game deserves mention for play of the year:

I think I can agree with that honorable mention. If some more guys saved replays, we could have a play of the year voting. Tried in Seasons 1 and 2, but the same 2 or 3 guys posted plays for about 4 weeks. So we decided to not do it.

Here are my stats on my two nominees

Ryan Katz 158-256 2596 20 TDs, 14 Ints. I will acknowledge it is not the best TD-Int. ratio and his yardage and TDs stats are not that impressive, but he played from like Week 5 or 6 on, and was instrumental in helping OSU finished #12. (FYI 6 of those interceptions were against USC)

DE Andrew Sumalo 42 Tackles, 24 TFLs, 14 Sacks (school record), he probably could have gotten more, but once we changed sliders he was no longer the sack machine, but he did get two against OU.

Also when are we voting on this. Additionally with regards to play of the year idea, what we need to do is have everyone upload one video and nominate. To upload a video isn't that hard if you know how to do it.

    Stat Monger!! [IMG]

What a monster year......was the rest of your offense in wheelchairs? I don't think I got 3200 yards as a team.

Wisconsin doesnt have a nominee. Was gonna be Williams, but I lost his stats when we advanced, and they were just above average at best.

Gonna make a new thread with everyone and their stats, and you can vote from there.

Return yards are sort of gimmie stats, he only had one TD return as a returner. I would actually say he did poorly with only 1035.

I love comparing Goodwin to my starting tailback who had maybe 50 less rushing yards with like 160 carries. I ran alot of triple option spread so goodwin only got the ball with he had the edge. Those 54 carries for 920 yards do not include the 80+ qb rushes that went for 1 yard or a loss.

I think both texas and Ohio state were around 5,200 combined pass and rush (I don't think the total offense includes special teams).
