Green has been hurt for the majority of the season, we hope he is fully healthy for the BCS Championship Game.

Ken Hopkins has had an amazing season, at one time McDougal had a decent lead in the INT race IIRC but he has just blown that up completely, what a season. I'm surprised by our overall lack of sacks, our defensive ends look pretty effective on paper. I might make a change for the championship game at RE. I can't believe Vaughn has literally done nothing other than make a few tackles.

jms493 what is the line on this one? Purdue has a pretty sick team when I looked at it. No holes whatsoever. I think they have to be considered the favorite..

NO they are not the favorites. Wisconsin should have beat them as I thought their offense was meh.

Washington should stop them a few times. Coach hellisan does not seem to have a problem with the Ball Slingers of the league. Purdue has a solid run defense but their secondary leaves alot to be desired. They will pick off bad throws but if you make good decisions you can pick them apart. The fact that Purdue has lost in 2 BCS games and Hellisan is basically undefeated in title games makes Washintong/Hellisan the favorite.

I think hotrod is really putting alot of pressure on himself to win this one. He will be losing at some point in the game. This will be the key point, will he overcome or make a bad decision. Washington feeds off bad decisions....this will be close but assuming no big injuries I take Washington.

If Sanders get hurt.....it is over.

    Washington -2.5 Purdue

Edit: Purdue won that wisconsin game but solid running late in the game. Hotrod finally has a solid run offense....if he can run....he will win.

Well looking at Hotrod's defense the obvious thing I'll try is going multiple receivers on them and work the inside/outside. You're probably not going to make a living running against those beasts inside and I don't have the speed to run outside.... This will be a fun/good game.

Basically, as you can see passing wasn't as important in my offense this season. Though Sanders had a lot of TDs we really picked moments to go through the air. Otherwise we were working it on the ground with Sampson and Matthews.

Yes kelly never got going against purdue those DTs are tough and they breakthrough. You would need a 95+ center and tackles to run inside IMO....or a killer FB.

Washintung was covering with 1:30 left when the old cocky rocky came back and drove up the field in 4-5 plays to score the game winning TD

    Purdue 31
    Wash 28
