This has got to be the biggest joke of all time. Why in the hell would they not do the rematch for the national title?

The Demo will suck IMO....I am not sure why they release it.

They probably chose OSU because Pryor will be their poster child for all the changes made to the spread read-option running game.

Kinda lame, but like jms said the demo probably won't be that great anyway.

At least we'll all be able to see how overrated as a passer they make Pryor in the default rosters.

jeez so much hatred and negativity! I am excited just to get my hands on the demo to see improvements in gameplay.

I was really, really hoping to play as a spread option team in the demo. Bama-Texas would've been perfect for that. Unless aOSU's playbook has a lot more of a spread option attack than it did in '10, I think I'll be kind of screwed.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my spread fix before the game is released.

    The reasons are simple:

    1. Ohio State: Prior/Spread

    2. Miami: They want to show that SPD ratings aren't the only thing that matters anymore.

The Hurricanes had one of if not the BEST NCAA 10 opening rosters in the game. With all of that young SPD all over the place you were set from the beginning.

I've seen some speculation that theses teams may have been picked because of their unique entrances and pro combat uniforms.

Hell yeah, looks like they are going with the 2011 National Championship instead of 2010 :)

I don't know if I can stand another OSU BCS game. Let alone one won by another phantom pass interference call!!!

Or they figure this will be each teams only chance to be in the spotlight...

According to Pasta Padre there will be other teams included with the demo:

There will be eight teams total within the demo and they will be selectable in four different matchups. That means that OSU vs Miami is one of the matchups but the option won’t be available to take OSU/Miami against one of the other six teams. The idea with the inclusion of eight different teams is to put on display the different authentic offensive styles that have been added to the game this year.

The remaining six teams are currently unknown but they will be revealed throughout the week in a similar manner as the first two were today. Quarter length for the games is something I hope to get confirmation on but they will probably be set at two or four minutes.

I like that...I get to beat up on Miami early. The other 6 teams...hmm...if this is true...what you think? I think you gotta see like a Georgia Tech, Army, Navy team...

Bama for one back, TTU for air raid, I'd guess GT for option.

My guesses for the demo teams, assuming that they are based on offensive styles:

Air Raid-TTU or ECU or Ok.State (new coordinator)
    Triple Option-GT or Navy
    Oneback-Bama
    Multiple-Miami
    Run-n-Shoot-SMU
    West Coast-USC or Washington
Pistol-Nevada (anyone else use this majority of the time?)
    Spread-tOSU

I spend more time downloading the demo than I spend playing it, so I could care less who is in the demo. It's usually a disappointment and makes you more apprehensive about the final product anyway. Then the final product is also a disappointment ... and the cycle continues. (n)

I'm expecting them to do the big game matchup from the early season.

So that means prolly Bama vs Penn State, uhh, drawin blanks this year. Boise vs VaTech?

Well if you look at EA's "120 Ways to Win" teaser video on their website...they have Ohio State as a "Multiple" type offense...so maybe a Alabama v Penn State is possible...One-Back v Spread. I think you will probably see Notre Dame there with their No Huddle Spread, maybe ND v USC....No Huddle v Pro-Style...

Multiple teams and multiple offense types. Hopefully if we get a type of each offense (and the ability to pick our setting: Heisman, AA, etc...) we can get a real good feal as to how this game is going to play.
