NCAA 11' Outlook for Cream of the Crop

As you guys already know, Cream of the Crop will be one of two PS3 League's going Premier for NCAA 2011. We intend all taking all 12 owners with us.

We have some simple changes coming for next year that we wanted to let everyone know about.

First and foremost, there will be a three headed commish with Hoodlum, JFunk, and Myself. The power and league decisions will all be decided and agreed on upon by us.

We also have been talking about the format for Cream next year and we wanted to get some input from all of you.

Give me three teams for next year you would have no problem playing with like you did this year for 2010. Pick wisely and put thought towards it. Any team you want except for the ones listed below here. Any prestige or conference.

    Teams Taken for 2011 (Seniority)
    Alabama (JFunk)
    Mizzou (Hood)

Below give me your three teams (By priority).

    G-Unit

    1. Hawaii
    2. Navy
    3. Kansas

As for format, I don't really have a preference as to what we do next year. I would say use the same format as we have or use a format with four conferences with three user teams in each conference.

At this point my first choice would be to wait and see what the game/teams look like when the game comes out. My 2nd choice would be to stick with FSU. 3rd choice would be to go with a mid major program much like G-Unit has listed. I wouldn't even know which team to look at, but maybe a TCU or Boise St. or someone along those lines.

I'll continue to let this thread play out, but we will definitely have the Big 12 and SEC involved. Not sure how many teams will be in what conference or whatever, keep posting your thoughts.

If there are 12 users in the OD I would prefer 3 conferences with 4 teams like we have now but we could do something else.

Looks like we need to decide between the ACC, Big Ten, and Pac-10.

If we go with major BCS conferences I think including the other 3 conferences that we didn't use would be a cool idea.

I think we should use conferences that have a championship game

I agree. I think if we go with three conferences then we should go with the three that have conference championship games. I think that would be most fair and the most fun.

Big 12, SEC, ACC. This selection would be the most appealing to me. Or we can say 2 from every major BCS conference with teams from the same conference having to play in opposite divisions within that conference.

i dont know if hood/g-unit/Jfunk have discussed it, but using custom conferences is an option. I dont want to use it, but it would expand the choices of teams

The Big East isn't going to last much longer anyway, the Big Ten is about to raid it.

Personally, I am opposed to switching teams from their actual conferences. One of the attractions of this game for me is that it is an extension of the college football season and throwing teams wherever just doesn't seem right to me. I cringe when I have to see that we currently have Notre Dame in the Big Ten because if ND were to actually join the Big Ten, I might slit my wrists.

I agree with Tuco. I do not like making custom conferences. That is unless they were to make a ruling on say the Big 10 or adding to other conferences any time soon. I prefer to keep it real.
