Are we locked into 1 playbook for the year? This year's game tells you at the loading screen what your opponent's playbook is so it's not like they can hide it from you.

I would think you should be, in real life teams don't radically change their offense or defense week to week, so I don't think it's all that sim to switch your playbooks during the season.

In Trifecta, we are allowing one mea culpa in season 1 as people adjust to the new game, but starting season 2 we are going the route of the Deuce and several other OD's - pick your playbook and pick wisely.

Anyhow - Texas will be using the Rutgers playbook on offense and the 4-3 on defense.

Pick it and live with it...if you want to change 1 time in season one, you still need to post that change.

I'm not looking to change drastically, but if I'm not liking Mississippi St and want to switch to Florida (which is very, very similar) to swap out my 1 ace formation for 2 Is and 1 pistol, there's not much difference. Same thing with Louisville. They're all spread playbooks heavily predicated on the option attack. If someone is expecting me to run MSU's playbook and they see Florida or Louisville instead, they probably wouldn't even notice the difference unless they know all 3 very, very well.

I have no problem with it, especially since this year it's a lot easier to run vs nickel packages.:)
