Please post your number of scholarships available and I will update the boards above. This includes number of seniors + empty roster spots + 1 for bumper.

Also remember to include all the information listed below when posting recruits. If you want to make it real easy on me you can even post the information in that exact order. (y)

    2011 Spring Position Battles

I have many solid starters returning but have a few battles at some key positions...

    QUARTERBACK

    #12 JuJu Clayton

    JR(RS) 6'1" 218 lbs.

OVR SPD AGI ACC AWR THP THA
    81 81 75 81 71 81 86

JuJu was swayed into staying at Va tech and not transfering to Bowling Green. He has great accuracy and seems to be a reliable QB with decent mobility. With an entourage of Hokie receivers, accuracy could play a key role in the Va Tech offense and JuJu seems to be the obvious choice.

    #3 Logan Thomas

    SO(RS) 6'6" 240 lbs.

OVR SPD AGI ACC AWR THP THA
    82 84 92 90 70 85 82

Logan is a converted TE and has great size and a very strong arm. His speed mobility, and acceleration make him very appealing, but Coach Frisk is worried that in a Pro Style offense he may not be used to his total potential.

There is a tight race at RB for Texas. Whittaker and Newton may end up splitting carries.

:5stars: FS Jermaine Lee is competing for roles on the DC in the FS/SS/CB spots.

Matt Caldwell, the #1 overall prospect from last year's class, has locked down the #2 CB spot.

At MLB, It was a tight race between the #1,#2, and #3 recruits. Coach Max has decided to go with Broussard, the bigger, more athletic, Home-state product as the starter in his 4-3. Texas will be incorporating some 3-4 looks next year on defense, so they should all see the field then.

Michigan just hung 70 on Army, so you are looking at 15th in a 12 man poll.

    #2 Ohio Sate 55 #9 TCU 16

    Holy crap.

This offense is a mismatch nightmare. Get ready fellas! (y)

We are fast on the perimeter, have a fast and powerful running game, and a QB that is retarded good.

All I can say about this game was TCU never had a chance.

    T. Pryor 15-22 246 yards 4 td's 0 picks.

    D. Herron 20 -188 - 3 TD's and was just f'n killer.

James Jackson 6 rec 137 1 td. Stoneburner scored once and D. Posey scored twice.

Next up is a mercy bye week for the rest of the country, then this machine rolls into South Bend week 3.Get em' ready now Juggs.

Coach's comment: Looks like another future running back for Gators. With Mack Brown :)RS: Fr.), Bobby Thomas (Fr.) and Ryne Harris (Fr.) he will have a tough time getting on the field in first couple seasons. He could contribute on special teams while waiting for a spot to open.

Florida makes a statement to open the season, decimating rival Miami 69-14. Most of the credit can go to the defense. The front 7 brought pressure and forced numerous mistakes for Jacory Harris. The Hurricanes' QB had 6 turnovers in this game and he was sacked 3 times. Jon Bostic forced 2 of the 3 sacks and he also grabbed an interception touchdown in this game. Joshua Shaw got an interception touchdown but his was from 101 yards. He added another interception late in the game. Evans grabbed the third and final pick six for Florida.

On the offensive side Florida did not play its best football. Brantley passed for just 129 yards on 10-20 passing. Demps didn't really get involved much in offensive play calling but he did manage 7 carries for 41 yards and a TD. The stars on offense were the reserves. Backup QB Josh Manning scored a couple short TD on goal line plays and then broke a long TD run after starters were pulled. The true freshman finished with 10 carries 103 yards rushing a 4 touchdowns. Redhsirt freshman Mack Brown had the longest offensive play for Florida, breaking an 80 yard run late in the game.

Next up for Florida is a trip to Lincoln to take on Nebraska. The Gators beat the Huskers last season but Nebraska has improved greatly since that match. The Huskers ended up beating Texas in conference championship and the destroyed Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. Florida will need to fix offensive problems if they want to win this game.

    Highlights on Dynasty Wire:
    - Bostic interception TD (off deflection)
    - Shaw interception TD (101 yards)
    - 52 yard option TD by Manning
    - Evans interception TD
    - Brown 80 yard TD run on wildcat play

Offensive Player of the Game: Josh Manning 2-4 9 yards; 10 carries 103 yards

    [IMG] [IMG]

Defensive Player of the Game: Jon Bostic 7 tackles (5 solo, 2 atk) 4 tackles for loss 2 sacks 1 interception 1 TD and Joshua Shaw 3 tackles (2 solo, 1 atk) 2 interceptions 2 deflections 1 TD

As a team, Michigan rolled off about 400 rushing yards. The new offense is looking good. The real test will be next week when we host Notre Dame.

Looking at the boards earlier today I don't see how it would be possible for Texas to not end up with about 10 five stars and Bama another 6 or 8. I can't complain too much about the way ND's board looks so far this year (as long as I resist the temptation to get on Dynasty Wire at work) but you boys boards are just crazy.

Down year for Florida last season appears to have killed recruiting momentum. I only had a few guys with my school on top and I'm going to have to battle for each recruit I sign. I already lost 2 recruits to Perry and 1 to Knight. I did get lucky with Morris but he was more of a luxury signing as he does not fill any team needs.

Welcome to Coast to Coast. This is what we did for nearly the entire dynasty after season 1 in last year's game. Hell I almost hit the scoring cap in this game despite having 120 yards passing and under 400 yards total offense.
