Manuel to Smith off of PA 68 yard TD, as defender tries to knock it down

    Team 1st 2nd 3rd 4th F
    FSU 17 7 14 14 52
    MISS 14 7 0 0 21

Florida State struggled early getting used to the new season as we allowed a few big plays but we settled in and turned it up on the Rebels. I really like how our defense flies around the field and is very aggressive but with that we may give up a big play or two during the game which I can live with. We are very explosive on offense with our passing game. There is speed all over the field along with height which is very very scary!

    EJ Manuel 16-31 293 yards 4 TDs
Chris Thompson 15 att 119 yards 2 TDs
Willie Haulstead 4 rec 98 yards TD
Greg Dent 4 rec 60 yards TD
Kenny Shaw 3 rec 14 yards
Tank Sessions 2 rec 58 yards TD
Rodney Smith 2 rec 89 yards TD

Christian Jones 11 solo 5 tfl 2 FF
    Jeff Luc 4 solo
    JuJuan Harley 4 solo INT
    Eric Reed 3 solo

    #8 Ohio State 63 - Miami Ohio 0

I scored 56 in the first half and pulled my starters at halftime. I should have left them in though but I would have scored over 100 with all my starters in the whole game.

So by following the rules I only got 90 yards rushing 1 td and 50 yards receiving 1 td with my only legit heisman caliber player Jamaal Berry. Probably why I never win awards in this league. Guiton threw 5 td's.

I don't know who I play next week.

The new fleXbox One offense is a work in progress. The defense scored 14 points so my offense 28. I had a couple of big runs, but getting the FB to run out of this offense is tough...and that is key. I think in the end I'll be alright though.

    Passing:
    Tate Forcier - 3/8, 95 yds
    Devin Gardner - 1/4, 24 yds

    Rushing:
    Tate Forcier - 13 att, 154 yds, 1 td
    Kyle Harris - 9 att, 15 yds, 2 td
    Devin Gardner - 6 att, 15 yds, 1 td
    Denard Robinson - 6 att, 32 yds
    Vincent Smith - 4 att, 12 yds

    Receiving:
    Vincent Smith - 2 rec, 44 yds
    Jeremy Gallon - 1 rec, 24 yds
    Jeron Stokes - 1 rec, 51 yds

    Defense:
    16 TFL, 1 sack, 1 int, 8 defl, 1 ffumb, 2 fmbrec, 2 tds

Beazus got booted in first game so we played through last 13 minutes in a different game. The total score while we actually played was 26-23 but the box score shows 27-23 since I had to make comeback against CPU after he went on auto. The stats in this game aren't representative of the actual game but Mike Gillislee had a big day in the second match. He had like 140 rushing in the second match.

Washington Running Back Deonte Cooper filled in for an injured Chris Polk and rushed for 182 yards on 22 carries with 2 TD's.

    WASHINGTON: 27
    #9 MIAMI: 24

The Washington Huskies got off the snide against a very tough team and opponent. After a demoralizing loss last week to LSU, Coach Frisk had to reevaluate the game plan. It seems that, along with some luck and home field advantage proved instrumental in the win. Although committing a couple turnovers which led to points, the Huskies played a great game, controlling the clock. The Hurricanes D line remained timid all game and had problems with the double teaming and zone blocking scheme the Huskies threw at them. The Washington defense forced Storm to fumble in the red zone and then the offense marched down the field, only to end the game on a FB dive with less than 10 seconds on the clock. Great game Nautica, sorry you had to be the one to give me my first C2C win.

    WEEK 2

    WVU - 34
    Marshall - 3

In their first game of the year, the Mountaineers took care of their in-state rival by a score of 34-3. Senior Heisman hopeful Geno Smith led the way for the Mountaineers, completing 23 of 31 passes for 347 yards 2 TDs and 0 Ints. FR(RS) Marvin Mosley had 4 catches for 91 yards, while Ivan McCartney and George Moody had TD grabs. Tavon Austin added 84 yards on the ground and 1 TD. The defense played well, but couldn't force any turnovers. Overall it was a solid effort to start the season.

    WEEK 3

    WVU - 41
    BYU - 14

BYU played like a bunch of dirty-ass mormon bastids. At one point in the 1st half they had knocked out my #1 QB, #1 & #2 HBs, and my #1 & #2 WRs. No players were seriously injured, but still. Effing a-holes...

Nonetheless, WVU took care of business, but the game was a lot closer than the score indicates. BYU's D-line was really tough, only giving up 76 yards rushing. WVU's QBs shined bright however, as Geno Smith was 9/12 passing with 175 yards and 2 TDs/0 Ints. Backup QB Barry Brunetti played with confidence, completing 15 of 21 passes for 259 yards 2 TDs and 0 Ints in his first significant playing time at WVU. WR JD Woods hauled in 7 catches for 157 yards and 1 TD. Stedman Bailey added 69 yards and a TD, while HB Tavon Austin added 59 yards receiving and 2 TDs. The passing game remains well balanced as 8 different players caught a pass. The defense didn't play as well in this game, but they held BYU in check for the most part.

QB hurt for 10 weeks. Couldn't run consistently, couldn't throw. The Cincy defense was dominant.

    whatever.

I can't run consistently either. Every time I ran the ball vs BYU their D-line would blow right by my lineman and get the HB in the backfield. There were a few exceptions, but I'd say on 80% of the runs I was hit in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage.

At least you still beat Cincy and that backup QB is only a few OVR behind the starter. Trying to be positive...;)

Real tough game on both sides. As some of you may know, I've had a few family issues going on and I've been trying to help out with watching my niece and nephew. But everything is now ok and will be back to normal by the end of the weekend.

    Week 4

    Florida 47
    Tennessee 30

This was an ugly game from start to finish. The offense was sloppy and made some careless turnovers. Reed threw a couple redzone interceptions and also lost a fumble. Aside from those mistakes he had a huge game, passing for 448 yards and 4 TD. His favorite targets were Stephen Ali (10 rec. 180 yards 1 TD and Desmond Parks (9 rec. 152 yards 2 TD). The Florida run game did almost nothing in this game as Mike Gillislee managed 38 yards on 18 carries and was shut down several times near the goal line. On defense Florida made a few big plays, including a fumble recovery TD and a safety. Unfortunately they also gave up well over 300 yards passing. Most of those yards came on blown assignments in coverage.

Offensive Player of the Game: Stephen Ali and Desmond Parks - combined 19 receptions 332 yards receiving 3 TD

Defensive Player of the Game: Josh Evans 5 tackles 1 interception 1 fumble recovery 1 TD
